I'd like to see Pringle recreate that miss where he put it over the bar from 2 yards.
How about his Bambi-on-ice impression from his debut?
He had a very raw playing style but always gave the team a lift with his pace and energy. From memory he was unlucky with injury, especially when we went down to the Championship and got injured when he was in really good form.
Btw I remember being at that game. It was such a rush to see us equalise at the end after watching us lose 9(?) games in a row beforehand.
It's a shame for them that the prestige of saying 'I played for Charlton Athletic' has so diminished since. They all deserve better. I especially loved Matty Svensson because he was a real worker with real passion.
How has it diminished for them? When they played, there was prestige in spades. No need for violins.
It’s quite simple. When I tell people I support Charlton Athletic now (in France) only the older football fan men know about the club. When I came to France twenty years ago we were like Brighton are now so most people had heard of us.
I imagine their experience in their Nordic countries to be similar. If we were still in The Premier League thay would be more respected now generally , when they say that they played for us.
Whenever they show highlights from our premier league days, seeing Claus majestically stroll around the pitch always hits hard with how far we have fallen since. One of my top 3 Charlton players
Matt and JJ's parents would come over for games every now and then and would book them on the CASC coach for away games. JJ also took time out to meet up at the first ever meeting of Swedish Addicks. A lot of the clientele at a very swanky restaurant in Stockholm looked very bemused when he walked out of there towards a bunch of people in Charlton shirts
Dear me. Read that then scrolled down where the next link is to 'Minister of Shooting' Ronnie Schwarz. Was it really only four years ago? The therapy must be working.
Great seeing these guys on the pitch yesterday. Anyone down the Oak after? Seen a few vids of them there having a sing song and Claus getting on the kareoke
Let's not forget the Nordic boys played in the Premier not the mediocre 3rd tier so were against higher class opposition. Great they were at the valley on such a feel good result with the sun shining 👏🏼

Well as Martin is doing a rather splendid impression of Bjorn from ABBA these days, is it any wonder? Btw, Herman just gets better with age………..oh yeah! 🤩❤️

I just said that he looked great to my missus too - and she agrees! What great players they all were.

Against Man City I think.
