He'll be SO proud to watch Zach playing at that famous stadium !guinnessaddick said:His grandad is looking forward to attending Hamden for the match.1 -

He roughed up one of the Crawley defenders within seconds of coming on to the field.2

Drew 0-0 against Aberdeen today.
Clean sheet against Aberdeen is a good effort. Not sure how well Zach played, but it looks like he’s having a positive effect on the St Johnstone defence.2 -

Some comments from the St Johnstone forum::
Can we just give Zach Mitchell all of the Sanders money to sign on and enjoy Steven Anderson 2.0 for the next 10 years!
Same at the other end, I didn't see Aberdeen causing any real problems. Mitchell outstanding back there and how he can't get a game at Charlton is a mystery....would like to see him back next season.
The guy is too good for Saints. Maybe the Celtic money could help towards a signing on fee.
On the positive side the defence looked comfortable. I don't have enough words to describe just how impressive Mitchell has been. If he were 30 I'd still be impressed but eve at such a young age he was the best defender on the park.21 -
Some of my in laws are Saints fans and have some ex colleagues who are ST holders. All absolutely rave about him.
Was told today he was easily the best player on the park for them and been doing very well.18 -
Encouraging comments indeed.0

Great to see his form continue. Looks like we timed his new contract a few months before this loan perfectly.18

I am over the moon to read all those great comments about Zach !
From the times we have been fortunate enough to see him play, they are so well deserved. He is a very special young player with a huge future ahead of him.
We can but hope that the supporters of the club he joined from a young age will have the privilege of watching his success in the red shirt for years to come.15 -
Great interview that. I hadn't realised that Alex had also been at St Johnstone on loan.Callumcafc said:3 -

Another 90 mins in the centre of a back 3 on Saturday, but they lost 3-0 away at Hibs. St Johnstone had 1 blocked shot the whole game.5

One for next season ?0

The problem he’s got is his competition is from our three best players in Ramsay, Jones and Coventry (if we used him as a DM). There’s no obvious way to fit him in, so he may have to be patient for his chance.AndyG said:One for next season ?
Of course it’s also possible someone is sold and he slots straight in as the replacement.0 -
Another post as marvellously confident as it is utterly incorrect.Gisappointed said:Still out of contract in June. Madness if he goes.9 -
Apologies, I dont read every post or even thread. It was an opinion of concern, not confidence.thenewbie said:

I have a life beyond this site.
Perhaps you could have a word with Smithy who didn't update the Zach subject title with the latest news.3 -

But he could be our fourth choice CB and second choice, maybe third choice, CDM. That's a good way to ease him in. There will be injuries and suspensions throughout the season. It's the advantage of having squad depth.Scoham said:
