Can you get Skysports in a New York sports bar? I think it will be around 12.30pm, perfect whilst I’m visiting to watch with a drink or two…

No, but it'll almost certainly be on ESPN or CBS or something

I’m going to be in New York too - the only problem is I’m landing at around the time the match kicks off and knowing US immigration lines I’ll still be queuing by the time the final whistle goes!

As someone has just said on Reddit... Its a bit brave of SKY to put Bristol Rovers vs Reading on, when it might not happen

Could be a night in Wrexham Crewe or Birmingham for those that want to train it

Chester has a Zoo, Crewe has a Railway Museum

Sky also had Arsenal v Palace scheduled for 17.30, but that's postponed due to Palace in the FA Cup semis. So looks like we'll be the main event on Sky Sports on the Saturday evening.
Whooppeee......Does that mean we'll have Smudger Smith as co-comentator 😀.

I have tickets for the theatre that evening starts at 7.30.
Poor Seth.  Having to choose between for his love of Charlton and his obsession with the Lion King.

Getting in early, anyone know of any bars in Florence that will be showing the game?!
    Zebedee springs to mind...🙄

I would love it... I WOULD LOVE IT, if we get to go there with a 1-pt gap over them and Wycombe, and f**king well get promoted at the Racecourse!!
2nd is a big ask in itself. Wrapping it up with a game to go is just not very likely. But I'll have whatever it is you are smoking 😀

I wouldn't get your hopes up! But the game will be as accessible as any game on Sky / Sports+ can be.

looks like all the trains back to Birmingham after the game are slow ones, but at least hotels there are much cheaper than Chester

I don’t know the area at all, so don’t know traffic around the ground but does anyone think the 20:44 train from Crewe to London is achievable in a taxi, if left on the final whistle. 29
miles. 55 mins on Google Maps

I know it's well behind the times up north, but is it still the 1990s?

Utter disrespect for Charlton fans, who are having to travel a bloody long way for this match - but why am I not surprised 🤷

Anyway, I’m nailed on for tickets as I have enough points and Valley Gold - we booked an AirB&B ages ago, so sorted anyway - however can’t change our train up, which is 8.30am on the day - gonna have to pace ourselves on the beer 😳

I love all this carping about match times & cant get back home....blah blah blah.

Go by car or by Valley Express. Thats what I'd be doing. But I wont be able to get a ticket seeing as I've only got 175 points.

So, stop moaning. Otherwise don't take up your allocation & let some other bugger go who doesn't mind that it's on at 5.30 and will drive it go by coach.

I haven't booked anything, but had assumed it would be a 12:30 game in which case I would have booked Friday night hotel, which would have been useless now!
