I have a real predicament!! No chance I will get a ticket unfortunately but today I have been invited by Wrexham to go to the game as their guest ( they are seeking sponsorship) little do they know that there is a Charlton fan on their list lol. I will be watching the stream ! No chance I’m going to watch it surrounded by Wrexham fans lol
You should definitely go - being there, even amongst Wrexham fans is 10 times better than watching on tv.
    And a freebie with scoff.
Plus he’ll be able to see their hearts break when Chuks smashes in a last minute winner and Charlton go above Wrexham in the table!

Maybe you should go and turn up in full first team regalia, that would be worth it's weight in gold...sure they would find you a nice seat in the away end...🙄

Has anybody on here ever seen the stats on how many fans sit in each tier? So, assuming an allocation of 1,200 tickets are made available, I am trying to gauge how far down the tiers or timings for ordering we will be?
Bloody hell that's a bit OTT.
You can't possibly know, because you don't know what section they will sell first.

What's the dilemma? I would go and make sure they knew i was an Addick....if its work then its paid for day out and presume your company will  pay for travel & hotel and you tell them to invest in a proper club rather than a two bit welsh dragon! what are a load of businessmen going to do when you cheer when TC scores the winner ....lump you......enjoy it.

Hopefully there's still plenty left in phase 2.

Having 830 loyalty points and not being in phase1 is completely naff. Hope we go up so I ain't got to worry about this bollocks as much anymore.
Why will you need to worry less about it?  Promotion = more glory hunters coming out of the woodwork buying Valley Gold memberships to jump the queue and get tickets for QPR away....
    Bigger allocations in general

Go. I did the same at Elland Road a few years ago when we beat them when Lookman scored. Hospitality box, didn’t tell them I was Charlton until half-time.

@Photollery - the Liberty Bar on W 35th St is some sort of Welsh pub run by Wrexham fans that shows all the games

Make them wonder why you are so knowledgeable about the other team. If it is cool enough to wear layers, maybe innocently reveal your Charlton shirt underneath in the second half

That’s something I definitely wouldn’t do mate. I blame Scottfor GD’s departure 100% and the one thing that would please me if Wrexham get promoted is that Dobson is there. I honestly don’t think he wanted to leave us

I’d have to accept in your situation.  Keep quiet all match then, if we win, sing and shout at the end when  getting thrown out doesn't matter.

Agreed, was so desperate to get to the Wycombe game having missed out on tix due to being solely focused on my family while my Dad was in ICU for a week that I bought two quite reasonably priced Wycombe lounge tickets. Will be surrounded by their fans but don’t care, the game is massive and want to see it unfold live.

As for Wrexham I hadn’t checked the points I have and with over 650 + being Valley Gold that should sort it. Just have to pop to the loo mid meeting on Monday to make sure… 🤭

That would be great if they used the pitch side screen, and opened up the West Stand, that would make so much sense if they were too...🤷‍♂️

It’s being held in Crossbars. Given that the match is being broadcast live on Sky sports I’m not sure they need to be opening up stands so people can watch on the big screen.

Blimey that's going back, hasn't been Crossbars for at least a decade.

Agreed, there's no need to be opening up a stand for this game.

anyone paying £10 to watch that game in the Fans Bar and pay the overpriced bar charges for a game they can watch for free at virtually any other pub (and buy a cheaper/nicer pint) needs to give their head a wobble surely??

Guess there's a value to watching it at The Valley, with a lot of other Charlton fans (compared to maybe no others in a pub), as well as Minto, Curbs, and Lisbie being there.

Not saying that's worth a tenner or the Fans Bar prices, but those are unique aspects that a pub can't offer.
