    Wycombe's attendance yesterday: 4,827.
Their attendance in the home game before that: 3,806.

Pretty embarrassing for a club going for league one promotion.

They did however get 9,333 v Wrexham though, so i'd expect a similar crowd against us.
Only 4 lower gates than that in League 2 yesterday. Very poor.

How on earth can they only be getting those sort of attendances ? That is farcical

Historically they are a non-league club, clubs that get promoted from the National League invariably struggle to increase their attendances by much.
Bromley as an example only got 2,500 the other week.
Granted, Wycombe's attendances are poor given the position they are in.  If they were to get to Wembley it would be interesting how many they would take, particularly as it is on their doorstep.

The ground is in pretty much the worst possible location in High Wycombe.

There's also only one bus an hour to the ground so fans have to drive or walk.

They also have a relatively small catchment area. The ground's awful location only makes it harder for fans outside of High Wycombe to get to.

Their ground is the closest League One ground to me, being a 45 minute drive. However, if I go by public transport, it takes over 2 hours as I have to travel to the town centre then go back out.

They've been a league team for over 20 season now, and a pretty successful one too, so the numbers are bizarrely low. It makes you wonder why their owner invested in them, rather than a bigger club.

Assuming this is members only which stand are people who’ve got tickets in the home end sitting in?

Be very careful how you answer @kinveachyaddick 's question folks as this thread is not members only. You never know who could be peering in for insider knowledge of whatever schemes you are hatching.

Looking forward to me and my son’s first trip to Wycombe. Any advice on parking, best place for a beer/atmosphere before the game would be much appreciated 👍
Plenty of on street parking if you don’t mind a spot of mountaineering after the game.

Capacity is only 9558, possibly 9446, or ev even possibly 10446, depending upon where you look, with the smaller figure stated as the ‘licensed capacity’ whatever that actually means, but if their fans haven’t bothered to turn up of late I can’t see why they’d turn up to see us tbh.

Oh so we’re not the only freak show club who have a load of ‘ooooh it’s Wrexham’ fans turn up for a match against them and disappear just as quick .

My Cambridge and Wycombe tickets never turned up, which is baffling, as my Wrexham one turned up today.

I'd never had problems with tickets not arriving before, so baffling what happened with my Cambridge and Wycombe ones, when I ordered them nearly 4 weeks ago.

When I first phoned the ticket office they weren't surprised that they were late in arriving, so I suspect the issue was there rather than with Royal Mail.

I've been getting aways posted to me for years.  Nearly always arrive 1-2 days later.  Only ever had one problem a couple of seasons ago when the ticket office had accidently put for collection.  Wasn't a big issue as CatJnr was living local at the time so got him to pick up and bring to game rather than me looking after them

My Cambridge and Wycombe tickets arrived in the same envelope, even though I’d ordered them at separate times.

    Saves on a stamp.
  • My Mansfield ticket arrived a week after the game. Rang the club to be put on the duplicate list to collect, then wasn’t on the list. Thankfully the ticket guy took my transaction code and just handed me a ticket. Not sure who messed up really, but thankfully no real issue presumably as wasn’t a sell out. Hopefully no issues with Wrexham.

Not sure if it will be of any use to anyone but I have a spare Over 65 ticket for Wycombe. Will be at the Northampton game Friday so can meet before that or obviously next week against Wycombe. Happy with cash or bank transfer.

    Edit - Sold
