Our ST sales up 13% on same time last year.

Meanwhile "big" clubs like Man City bring in new rules that if you don't use your ticket at least 10 times a season you could lose it.
Haven't renewed mine yet but will this week. But getting pestered with emails, texts and letters from the club asking me to do so.
Easy way to make those stop, Just cough up the dosh. :D

I imagine there will be a spike as people get paid at the end of the months and with the deadline getting close.

Plus the team is doing well, which must help

Renewed yesterday for me and dad. He’ll be 85 next Christmas Day and couldn’t wait to renew for next season. Loves getting to the games, although it’s likely that he’ll have to miss quite a few when the weather gets too cold for him, as he did this season. Bloody good job he’s not a City fan living in Manchester or they’d have it off him!!  🤦🏻‍♂️😉

I usually get our tickets via my apple wallet and just screenshot them and send to the other people that are attending.

You can buy heated socks, gloves, body warmers etc these days.
I wore some heated socks and gloves for the midweek winter games and was not at all cold and everyone near me were freezing their bo&&%$ks off  :)

    Then, they needed heated underpants.

Fair play to him my dad went into his early 80;s but it was difficult after the match going up Floyd road. It was amazing how many people bumped into him and knocked him off balance so in the end he had to give up.

If you use the current cards like a contactless bank card, they are so much quicker then trying to scan a bar/qr code
I’m constantly amazed that the club doesn’t put out the info about this being possible, most matches I watch both adults and kids struggle to get the bar code under the scanner properly and when I tell them they can just tap it like an Oyster they seem astounded.
My and my son tried to use our season tickets (card type) yesterday like a contactless debit card as shown in the video but no luck. Turnstiles 15 & 16 into West Upper.

Not sure if its the readers or the cards (or both). We had to go back to waving the card around under the bar code reader which is a bit hit and miss.

Yeah, he’s got the jacket and the hand warmers mate, but when you get to his age (and I suspect younger) the cold gets into your bones a lot easier and he can’t be doing with that.

I am very careful with him when we come out after the games. He’s very active and walks c.5km most days, but he can only really handle flat roads now. We make our way to the front of the road and get the bus back to Woolwich.

He then warms up back in the pub when he sees his favourite landlady!!! 😉

Surprised to hear that works. Usually tickets in Apple wallet do not work from a screenshot. If you do that with train tickets for example, they won't work at the gate.

As an aside I thoroughly believe that the three turnstiles for the family section should be manned, the only time queues get bad there is when the young ones are struggling to scan their tickets.

Mind you it’s very rare all three turnstiles are open there anyway.

When you say the screenshot doesn't work at the (train) gate, is that by tapping or barcode reader ?
We use the barcode readers at Dartford station which is a bit fiddly so tapping would be preferable.  Mind you, we have only recently worked out that our Two Together railcard requires us to go through the same gate, one immediately following the other !

Season tickets will go off sale at Phase One pricing at 11.59pm on Friday, May 2nd and will go back on sale at Phase Two pricing at 10.30am on Saturday, May 3th. Supporters should note that while the play-offs are going on, season tickets will only be available to purchase online, due to the heavy burden on the club’s Ticket Office during this period.

Am I right in thinking that the Phase 2 prices are locked in, regardless of whether we are in League One or the Championship ?

For personal reasons I did not renew my ST last season but will do for 2025/2026. The difference for renewing under Phase 1 or 2 is only £10.00 & I would rather wait a bit.

Despite all the health issues and missing a lot of games,  the new season is a great target to get back into the old routine,  whatever the league we're once again in, for all the excitement.

With all the random stuff the club decides to do that isn't much use, one useful thing they could add would be to show the view of the pitch is from the specific seat.

I don't think it would be too difficult and it would be a nice touch, thinking of moving seats again and it would be nice to preview the view before buying.

That’s a great idea, might be worth emailing the fans advisory group. no idea  of  what the email address is though.

Not sure if you can for season tickets but for buying single tickets you can get a general view of (most) blocks, not specific but still a help.

One thing I'd love is a line showing where the roof stops in the West stand, had a few times where I've been soaked due to rookie errors when choosing seats

Definitely does it for single tickets, probably not too difficult to roll out for STs too.

That's what I'm saying gents, it shows the general view, but not from the seat.

As an example last season in West Upper I had a rail that completely obstructed my view facing the left corner Covered End, which is where we spent most of our attacking play as CBT was there haha.

Just be nice to know the exact view, for how much it costs, I think this should be a feature. Otherwise you may just have to end up moving seats.
