Hope everyone sits, not stands, in their allocated seats and applauds good football from the both sides as it should be.

Going up Friday and coming back Sunday.
    First away of the season?
    No chance of everyone sitting.
    Pretty sure he was joking.

10 of us driving to Wrexham on Saturday morning .

8 of us going to the match.

All staying over in/just outside Wrexham & eating at Levant @ 8pm ( unless we're still in the Ground celebrating  :) ) not far from the Stadium.

    See y'all there !
Hopefully Wrexham put up a pittaful performance and are completely shish on the day.

Looks like my son has managed to blag his way to a ticket. Only problem is that the coaches are all sold out (or taken off sale). He's now investigating ways of getting there & back but as everyone had testified.. ..no farking train back.

Might tell him Crewe seems the most popular place to stay, but I expect at this late notice all the B&B's will be full.

Unless there is a spare seat in a car for anyone driving there & back on Saturday. If so, pls give us a shout !

There's plenty of spaces on multiple National Express coaches from London to Liverpool, which would be a good option.

I'm surprised by how many Charlton fans are staying in Chester, although I seem to be the only who's already on the way up there.

Yes, me old muvva lives not far from Crewe so am attending.

I am praying that Jones and Berry are fit, but reckon MacIntyre will start. :-(

It will be a rowdy affair, what with all their bullshit (and Sky changing the time so they can show the 'promotion') ...if we can do 'em it'd make my season even if we don't go up automatically.

    COME ON CHARLTON!!!!

PS I had no idea until a couple of days ago that their manager is that utter twat Parkinson who was 'judged on results' by Murray to subsequently be announced as our manager (was it six or 8 losses in a row that got him that gig?), and then capitulating to Millwall at the Toolbox 0-4 and quoting a few weeks later something like "my teams have never let me down on the road". Utter wanker. Nice guy apparently as he wore a cardigan. Just another piece of the jigsaw in Murray's destruction of the club. Let's all sing up, and put all this bullshit in the last twenty years right, at least in terms of this game, this result. COYR.

15 minutes on the train and you get to not stay over in Wrexham! What’s not to like? 😉

Ah yes, the infamous "he'll be judged on results" and then hired after a string of losses. I was at a supporters meeting given by Murray during Parkinson's "caretaker" period & he told us that he was about to sack him.

And the 4-0 loss at Millwall - with Solly playing at right back !

    Indeed.

And all the self-appointed 'Charlton gurus' still sticking up, and making excuses for Murray.

Just a heads up for anyone looking for accommodations. In parts of the country like North Wales it’s often quite cost effective to purchase a small furnished flat to stay in for the night or two you’ll be there. You can then just leave it or donate it back to the locals as it’s unlikely it will be worth holding on to for the next time Charlton are in town.

Yes, but not if you’re clever enough to leave a flock of sheep in the garden. They’re tax deductible.

And although money gained from renting them out to the locals is both immoral and illegal, it is unlikely to be discovered if well managed and therefore can represent a source of tax free cash.

Taking the Sunday 12:20Am slippers express from Shiraz central to Ikea Downs. From there it's a short joint replacement to Credit card, monitor switch, as well as  Shure headphones for marital  protection. (not withstanding sonic ejaculations during the ensuing 2 hours)

The club couldn’t afford to sack him as well as Pardew at the time, they sold Luke Varney for £2m and that money went to pay off Pardew.

3 nights in Premier Inn Crewe (250 yards from station) = £158, train to Wrexham General (200 yards from ground) via Chester = 1 hour and £10
I do hate walking too far unnecessarily
