Try going when we only have one powder puff shot on target, and lose 1-0 (last season).
Yes, the ground is crap but I’m surprised that would put anyone off going again.0 -

That doesn't apply to Bolton, so a real mystery why they've been so poor this season.0 -

Held onto Evatt too long out of loyalty when the results weren't there , would consider them a threat for next season under Schumacher with his own squad.2 -

We have shown on a couple of occasions recently that we can win 3 or 4 nil at home. I worry about a performance like today, Peterboro or Rotherham. I feel more confident about us holding a lead than pulling one back... Just me?
I think this result has put 3rd beyond us0 -
I think I would prefer the first leg at home if we play Wycombe. We can potentially put the game to bed but if we cock up, we know we can win there. I certainly don't think the home/away order is as big a deal as some seem to believe.4

Our away form has been patchy this season. If we go away 1st leg & put in a performance like yesterday or at Peterborough then I doubt we could turn around a 2 or 3 goal deficit.
However, play 1st leg at home where we know we are unbeaten for months & I think we could go away & defend a 2 goal lead.
In any case, I'm just happy we are in the play offs because 4 months ago you'd be locked up for just suggesting it.1 -
The away second leg and potential penalties at a hostile ground with a raucous atmosphere might be tough, but that hardly applies to Wycombe.
Stockport away would be way tougher, I'm not sure I'd enjoy that away entrance in such a crucial game either.4 -
We don’t just need to win next week for the home advantage, we need to win because a loss or draw to Burton would be deflating whatever 11 we put out6
-
Home first or away first, what we need to do is win the round. All these superstitions are tosh i m o, don't rubbish yourselves into a depression. Just support the team whatever the outcomes.1

Don’t think it matters that much where we finish as long as all our key players are available for the playoffs. For Burton rest TC, Small, Jones, Gillesphey, Edwards, Berry and Godden. Start some of the youngsters and the likes of Mitchell and give Ahadme a chance - obvious be great to win it but far more important to keep our key players fit and ready for playoffs.7

I'm assuming we'll have Terry Taylor back for the play offs?0

Fully expecting Wycombe and Stockport to play out a boring draw.
Unless we go crazy, a draw ensures they finish 3rd and 4th and both get home second legs. I really don't see either club pushing too much for a win.3 -

i reckon o's could have 25-30k there with the arsenal, spurs and west ham lingerers that watch them cos they struggle to get / afford their first teams tickets
loads that my kids know fall in to this category2 -

Of course, if the game is level coming up to the end of the game I wouldn't be taking unnecessary risks to get the win.0 -

But i agree it's in Wycombe's interests after 2 defeats without scoring, to at least get some form back to build confidence.2 -
