I saw this chart, assuming it is accurate, that average league attendance isn’t that great though obviously a lot better than most in the division. Saturday’s game will clearly push our average over 15k but it will still mean that the average number of empty seats for league matches has been 12k over the season. Whichever division we are in next season the aim has got to be to challenge for promotion.

In recent years there has been some movement in that direction, and maybe it is the little things like clean toilets, ease of access, decent and affordable refreshments, travel to matches that can be improved.
I sometimes think that the effort to sell lounges and boxes might come at the expense of selling ordinary seats.
Of course football success sells better than anything else.
Do they do very cheap tickets?
Pushing for promotion and probably think having lots of fans backing them will help. Clearly not an unsporting tactic we would ever stoop to…
