This is starting to get like the thread years ago about the Millwall fan called Lee Wall who was posting on one of their message boards about his season ticket seat being sold.

We all laughed at how thick he was, this is going that way.
What, we’re going to laugh at him again?
In fairness StuWall was trying to buy a ticket for a league game he already had a ticket for. Its not the same! No one has been thick here, tge system just failed many of us and caused mass confusion.

The system in place has been explained many times, it's not the ticket office who need a bollocking, it's our fans buying other seats, moaning and then creating more work and queues by them ringing/emailing the TO to make changes.

ST seats are held until 11am tomorrow, absolutely zero need for people to panic buy.
Except there have clearly been tech issues with the system relating to different browsers. And that has created stress for fans and extra work for the ticket office.
This. And I'm absolutely livid about it.
To allow people to queue for over 30 minutes and continually refresh a browser that wasn't going to work is ridiculous. If you were on said browser in the queue then it should've shoved us out there and then and not wait until we get to the ticket page.
    Joke

What this shows is that the ticket system can't cope with the volumes of selling 20000+ home tickets. Plus away tickets.

With the benefit of hindsight, maybe the season ticket phase needed to be a couple of days longer, allowing potential issues to be sorted out before general sale.

Also think they were obsessed with shifting season tickets for next year and bought that into the mix as an option to get priority playoff tickets.
Unfortunately the system they are using cannot cope with such an array of options.

Think my account is locked. Who do I speak to about that??
Think everyone in the ticket office is lying down in a dark room with a cold flannel on their head!

Ground appears sold out now, though tomorrow morning it sounds like there will be a decent number of seats available from season ticket seats not bought

Season ticket holders panicked cause the system that was put in place simply didn't work yesterday.  None of the links worked and so they bought elsewhere for fear of missing out on additional tickets, that they were able to buy due to being loyal fans. Lots of other people having problems with the site today, so no need to dig anyone out imho
There was 2 days for the issue to be fixed, not digging anyone out, just sometimes a bit of common sense needs using, rather than creating more issues. You can still buy your additional seats.

Additional seats and buying your own seats are 2 very different things though.
Is it fixed though? Some people still struggling today to get their season ticket seats and also people who've bought tickets have no confirmations or can't access their accounts. Re your last paragraph, not really if you wanted vacant seats next to your ST that were available/unavailable depending on when you logged on, what device/browser you were on etc! Appreciate you werent having a pop and hopefully everyone will get there eventually. COYA

Yes, I would expect that. I kept coming in and out and a ticket suddenly appeared so maybe tickets are being added and it is a case of keep trying if you really want to have it now. A bird in the hand. It was a single ticket on its own in the AC stand but it wasn't there a few minutes before.

At least we didn't have liam and Noel in charge and when fans got through seen that the seat prices had been quadrupled like they did for their Oasis Wembley tickets......class Acts!
Why wasn't someone from the club correcting all the tech faults over the weekend or any acknowledgement given by club there was a massive screw up, or comms department sending out an update? Really Poor !
Ticket office manager and the clowns who run our club just need to look at Charlton life

Didn’t the club sell through ticket master for the last Wembley game?

Does this sentence confuse anyone else other than me. Can Wycombe buy 1 or 6 per person?

Think it means they can buy 6 but they must all be allocated to someone with an account. Basically no buying for your mate who hasn't been to a game before

Apart from the ST seats that will become available tomorrow from either those you can't go or those who have bought other seats because they couldn't seem to bag their seats.

I wish I knew how many unclaimed season ticket seats will be available tomorrow. Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands?
Hundreds I would expect going by what posters have been saying on here.

I'm waiting patiently until tomorrow & hopefully I'll be able to buy one of the ST seats that will be on sale as from 11am.

All this has shown me is that firstly people dont read what the club put out and then the panic that some people seem to create thereafter.

The match is not for another 10 days time. There are enough tickets for c25k people. How many ST holders do we have....less than 10k ? Why people are panicking and buying in different parts of the ground is beyond me.

And then next week we will have these fans moaning that they are now sitting at the back of the West near the JS Stand whereas they've had a ST for years in the Upper North.

Once again I know who bought all the toilet rolls 5 years ago.

if you think about it most season tickets probably kept their usual seats. I'd say about 6-7k will go on sale tomorrow

Sadly, I will be in Genoa for the final but my brother will be going and yes, I recall it was via Ticketmaster now in 2019. It was a few years ago. I view me being away as a positive as it must mean we are getting to the final!

Well the good news about all this, is we actually have fans still.

Just a shame we didn't turn up in numbers for over half the season
You can blame South Eastern for that.

Gonna hold off until the unclaimed tickets get released tomorrow. Hoping to snag a home ticket in the covered end. 3 hour drive for me, but will be a wicked atmosphere
