I never expect us to win playoffs but always hope we do. Nothing has changed this year.

Earlier in the year I thought we'd narrowly miss out on the playoffs. Instead we narrowly missed out on automatic promotion.
    It wasn’t that bloody narrow!
Took it to the 2nd to last game, a lot closer than anyone predicted back in December/January.

We won't win without Berry, Small and Jones
Ok? At least 2 of them rested for the final game of the season, Berry is the one that hasn't trained for a few days but we have a week to get him back up to speed
Jones was limping when he walked up to get his award on Saturday.
    Nope.

Someone also said Small was limping, and I can confirm that's just how he walks

Where were you sitting to see that happening? Because he wasn't limping at all as he walked up to collect trophy and walked back to the group.
  • Last Season the unfancied team in the playoffs were Oxford Utd and yet they were the ones to go up . . . Leyton Orient are 9/2 and very much the outsiders this year but for me if we do manage to beat Wycombe they will be the team we will play at Wembley  . . .

I did think that when I saw him walking on to the pitch he didn’t look like he was moving well, but then he started kicking a football around with the kids. So yeah I think he just has a weird walk

    He is very duck-footed

Anyone heard anything about Kone. Did not play Saturday.
Rested apparently, along with Humphrey’s. Seems suspicious to me that they weren’t on the bench given the Stockport game was still important and they had 8 days to rest after - must have at least had knocks like us with Berry, Jones and Small
  • It made sense to rest key players when the automatic goal was impossible. I would expect both to play against us. Likewise I am expecting our rested players to be available.

  • I don't want to sound overconfident, as Wycombe have some quality players, and some would be welcome here, but I just think we have their number a bit.

I think they've made a poor managerial choice, I think we will have the mental edge after stuffing them twice, and I don't think they'll generate an atmosphere at home like Wrexham did to make a difference like we will.

I think Stockport will just edge past Leyton Orient. Stockport just seem a bit more street wise to me, and have the better overrall squad and manager.

Us and Stockport in the finals I'm predicting, and I do genuinely think it's a coin toss. Hopefully ours on the day. But a very strong play-off competition and whoever goes up, will thoroughly deserve it. No easy wins at Wembley here.

Wycombe will fold to anybody now, this is a cert that we're at Wembley.
    Trust me.

I’m not taking anything for granted. Wycombe will be a different team to the one we faced on Easter Monday. We have two very tough matches in front of us, IMO.

On top of having should have gone up automatically, they have lost their last three games.
We'll roll them over next Sunday and the game at The Valley will be a massive beer before the game as we'll be at least 2-0 up.

  • Orient is the fairytale story. Lost the playoffs at Wembley in 2014 on penalties. Then started a torrid journey on a downward trajectory with ownership groups arguably worse than some of ours!
Owners got better and they clawed their way back to the EFL. Sadly, their talismanic manager who got them back there Justin Edinburgh tragically died in the summer before the new league campaign started. But they battled on and climbed their way back.
I've always felt they were starting to knock on the door but thought this season was too soon for them. Hope so!

Suddenly I'm not so sure after Elfs  thinks Wycombe are going to origami but if the wheels aren't off for WW the nuts are certainly rattling.

Ooh Matron Kenneth Williams GIFs Tenor
I know Lloyd Jones picked up the official Player Of The Year award on Saturday but for sheer consistency dear old Kenneth has been the standout (oo-er missus) for a number of seasons now.

Absolutely hideous. Have to feel extra bad for Plymouth and Exeter.

Can't believe Cardiff have been allowed in, surely that long wiggly dark line that passes near Wrexham Shrewsbury and Whitchurch should be a hint 😵‍💫 and the fact their beautiful country has been made a boring beige colour

Could have Stockport stay down with us as well if Orient go up. Notts County, Chesterfield or Walsall could still come up as well
  • Everytime Ali backs us to win, we have a shocker. Delighted he's gone for Stockport.
  • Concern for me is that this team have a Rotherham, Peterborough and Wrexham away performance in them. Each time they were inexplicable and unexpected.

Will we do it again? Can Wycombe be as bad as they were a couple of weeks ago again?

Some of our players look like they have been running on empty for a few weeks, if we do get to the final will the big Wembley pitch find us out?

Just can't get away from the fact that we have used up all our Wrmbley play off final luck and we are 'due' a disappointment there....
Interestingly our pitch is actually on the smaller side, however I feel our game is suited to a large pitch to stretch teams. We are the fittest club in the league, if you think we're running on empty imagine how the rest of them look.

    The Valley 102x67
    Stockport 101x66
    Wycombe 105x68
    Orient 105x69
    Wembley 105x68

I managed to get this video of him after parking up in the west stand carpark.

Is that him avoiding the potholes…?

    Orient to be promoted then.
