I was logged in on Opera on my desktop. I figured I should log into Safari on my laptop to, just in case. But apparently my email address is incorrect. I checked on my desktop and email/ password were both correct. But I can't log in on any other browser or device.
So I thought, okay, I will stay by this desktop all morning and try through this. But now I have been force logged out of Opera on desktop, and cannot log in on any browser at all.0 -

I know you worked on the 'inside' AB and doesn't it make you realize how many season ticket holders stay at home when the team are struggling. Any savings must disappear if you miss games and only get to 60% of matches.
A bit like Gym membership for the half hearted !0 -
I'll start by saying I was lucky / early enough to get tickets as a non-season ticket holder (I have been a season ticket holder in the past but cant commit to all of the games anymore so come when I can).
I am curious for views as to how people feel about the ticket allocation here. Based on how the ticketing works, if you are a family/group of four with season tickets, you would have been able to purchase four tickets each in the first wave, then an extra two tickets each when on general sale, so 24 tickets overal. Do many season ticket holders buy up their full potential allocation? Do season ticket holders think this large potential allocation is fair?
I guess if the ticket office weren't expecting the demand then this way of allocation is probably a good way of filling the stadium, but I wonder how many geniune fans have missed out due to people buying for friends who aren't Charltion fans.
As I said at the start, I have tickets so don't have a strong view either way but interested in (balanced) views from the fanbase (that could change if we get to Wembley and I cant go though!).
(Apologies if this has been covered in the previous 35 pages...!)2 -

The atmosphere around the place prior, during and after was like nothing I'd experienced at the Valley before.
Here's hoping!17 -

Logging in to buy a ticket is made impossible because the advert for season tickets continually washes buying a match ticket away from the tablet screen.0

Experience has taught me to expect it to go wrong - and to tell people that so you manage expectations.
I have trained groups to set up things like new computers. You can tell people not to press anything until told to do so - but they will because they know better because it worked when setting up their own computer. It will then go wrong.
That experience tells me that the instructions you give out have to be clear and exact step by step. Preferably with screen prints for each step.
I would not expect all to follow them until it all goes wrong for them. At least they have instructions to fall back on.
If they had better guidance most issues would not have occurred and the demand on the telephone and email from those with issues would not have been so great.
I would have also split help issues so it was either phone or email so priority issues are resolved quickly. When things did go wrong, why were updates not put on the website quicker? How many emails were sent in and replied too to say that ticket emails would be delayed before the official note was sent out for instance?
Charlton Life offered more support than the website. That is not what should happen.

I posted this on the Spares thread, but repeating here in case it helps anyone today.
Set aside enough time, with no distractions, to get the job done today. At least an hour - just clear that time in case you need it. Be prepared to wait. Be prepared to get annoyed if that's what you do, fill your boots. Just don't give up if you get frustrated - that's guaranteed not to secure a ticket. If you want tickets together but can't, cut your losses and secure something sensible. If you get the tickets you want within a few minutes - the norm in usual circumstances - treat it as bonus.
If you run into issues getting the right ticket category - e.g. having to prove age / e.g. you can't assign a ticket to someone else - just buy an adult ticket / buy it in your name. You'll have a week to call the ticket office to iron out any price changes or who the ticket is assigned to. The main thing is get yourself tickets - details can be sorted out later.
Understand that SOLD OUT doesn't mean sold out, as uncompleted baskets will empty, keep refreshing the page. Don't dally when something comes up. This morning they're occasionally coming up already. Anyone with perseverance, and the time to persevere (which won't be everyone), should not be missing out on a ticket - stick with it!

Season Tickets Now Held until Friday at 10:59

It’s a shame the website doesn’t have the option to release season ticket seats which wont be used for the game. Could save people having to wait another 48 hours when those seats won’t be bought regardless.2
-
Slightly annoying this has been put back to Friday last minute. They were also too quick to put them on general sale before ST holders had a chance to buy them yet.3

Seems a sensible move, but reactionary will only annoy in some quarters. Ticket site aside, communication is key and having not been surprised that we’re in the playoffs the club did have ample time to outline the majority of the practicalities regarding ticket sale dates ect.I can only hope the ticket office can catch a breath and the club can think, should we make it through what can be put into place comms wise so we’re not faced with carnage next week and an even shorter window3
-
Feel for the ticket office staff. Huge amount of extra admin for them.7
-
Can only mean lots of calls from ST holders to swap seats.Better to clear that before general sale I guess.4
-
Should never have been put on general sale whilst season ticket seats were still reserved. Give season ticket holders a day or 2 longer in the first place and then put any unbooked ST seats on general sale with the rest of the stadium.11
-
All this carnage is essentially self- inflicted by those unable to follow instructions and panic buying random seats instead. It clearly stated people's ST seats were held for them, the communication wasn't an issue IMO, it was the unnecessary panic buying.15

As I have said before, once they knew our home match was a week and a half away they should have postponed selling tickets until today/tomorrow, that way they could have concentrated on they away tickets, and there would have been no need to bring the ticket office staff in on Sunday. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.1

CAFC sent out an e-mail stating:
As one of our 2024/25 or 2025/26 season ticket holders, you have until 10.59am tomorrow (Wednesday, May 7th) to purchase your season ticket seat for our huge play-off semi-final against Wycombe Wanderers on Thursday, May 15th (KO 8pm)!
Unfortunately as I am now informed by the CAFC Ticket office ST 2025/26 were nor being held.
This type of contradiction is unhelpful and seriously incompetent.
Although they have back tracked on the deadline some peoples ST seats have become unavailable like mine so there is still an anomaly in getting a ticket at the moment.2
