They don’t want the Covered End to clap the players when they come out ?

It worked, the atmosphere was special, don’t think I’ve experienced anything like that since 1992 at the Valley.

When the whole stadium belted out The Red Red Robin, it was on, and the noise, the limbs, the batshit craziness to the goal, and then Matty Godden’s chant sung so loud, it was a very very special night

I wish I could bottle those 5/10 minutes up after Godden’s goal and relive them again and again.

    Hopefully we will at Wembley.

It looked great from where I was sitting. Actually, standing!

    5.5/10 for the execution
An execution? Glad I missed that. Sounds most unsavoury. A bit OTT for pre match entertainment.

There were fireworks too over the Jimmy Seed. I was seriously worried it was all a bit too much, too soon. But all’s well in the end.
Yeah I thought at the time that it was a bit much and felt like a victory parade. But in hindsight (because we won!) it was a good effort.

I agree but I would have accepted Grimmer being tied to a goal post and given a sound thrashing from a cat of nine tails.

I had my reservations, but thought the pre match  stuff was class.

It will make Abide with Me at Wembley look a bit tame.

I've never met golfsta but I'm pretty sure I can see him there not holding his one up.
He’s the one with a gob full of roast potatoes.

I've seen those pyro units a few times on tv for events, but had no idea just how much heat comes off them.

Was pretty toasty in Row E of Alan Curbishley Stand.

I felt the heat off them in the back corner of the top drawer of the Cupboard End, Curbsside.

I was hoping they'd make a reappearance in the second half as I was getting a bit cold.

Was that done by the club?  thought it was someone in their garden.

Very possible and if memory serves me right may have been done before. Doncaster game pre-match maybe?

What surprised me was not just the heat, but the speed the heat travelled - more or less instantly. I might have to get one of those units for my back room which is a but nippy in winter.

if one of those units tipped over it would have taken out whole sections of the Curbs.
