If anyone else spent their formative years listening to jungle/drum and bass in dark warehouses he might be a familiar name. My YouTube feed is a mix of tunes from that era and Charlton content so was very confused to see the two come together, great though

I think Goldie is more DnB than Jungle tho🤷🏻♂️
its in the breaks used, more two step than sped up Amen.
But willing to be corrected, I’m more into UKG and Footwork.0 -
Great find. One half is Urban Shakedown. Some Justice is a stone cold classic.hermann said:Famous might be a stretch but found out last week that DJ Aphrodite is an Addick:

Was that Ian boarders or Chris Morgan I am the head groundsman on the head where he playedsoapboxsam said:MrWalker said:Judging by her socials, which I follow religiously, Janette Tough, ["Wee Jimmy Krankie] will be there, cheering us on.
Which is very comforting.
For those of us who don't want to stand up at Wembley,(for the whole game) I would rather have a 4ft 6in 'wee Jimmy Krankie' with 'his' school cap in the seat in front than Zak Crawley* at 6ft 6in and his England cap on as he gets a helicopter down from Trent bridge.
*I knew Zak didn't come from a poor family after talking to his sport's teacher from Tonbridge at the St Lawrence ground.
Zak's dad made a fortune in the city if Wikipedia is correct.
Possibly Chris Morgan and he was saying that they knew Zak had the potential and also the teacher took the rugby as well. It was a few years ago and I do seem to talk to people randomly. Sounded like a top school for the lucky youngsters who go there. Top groundsmen as well apparently!1 -

When she appeared on Soccer AM she had the nails of one hand painted claret and blue and the other red and white as she "supports" both (mum an Addick, dad a Hammer if I recall).Dave2l said:Dame Kelly Holmes is a great lady and Charlton through & through.
Pixie Lott is not a Charlton supporter.
It does get on my nerves about how many famous people support West ham.
Surely the ugly kit should put at least some of them off!

dredging this one up after a niche find...
Excellent comedian Adam Riches (known for his Sean Bean on Cats Does Countdown) is on the latest Comedian's Comedian podcast - and there is clearly a Wembley flag in the background. Question is, is it his or his wife, Taskmaster runner up, Stevie Martin's?
Either way, I'll take this one.

I guess I got it wrong then? She definitely had her nails done like that, so assume it was for her dad that she had the red and white ?Lewis Coaches said:

Watching (by my standards) modern music by Paul Heaton and his band from Bramall Lane as Paul is a Sheffield United fan.
His keyboard player was introduced as Toby Chapman Charlton Athletic fan. I have never heard of Toby but, as I say, this is modern music by my standards.
Amongst you youngsters perhaps Toby can be counted as a famous fan.4 -
The other members of the bands are fans of Bolton Wanderers, Aston Villa, Man City, Rochdale, Everton, Leeds, Celtic and Sheffield United so Chapman's footballing roots appear to be a long way from the others.. Heaton, who I love, had a chuckle when introducing Chapman and the keyboard player himself had a somewhat embarrassed smile when taking a bow.LenGlover said:Watching (by my standards) modern music by Paul Heaton and his band from Bramall Lane as Paul is a Sheffield United fan.

Chapman has a serious CVTouring Musician — with artists such as Paul Weller, Spandau Ballet, Kylie Minogue, Dream, Tom Jones, ABC, Rick Astley, Belinda Carlisle, Atomic Kitten, Girls Aloud, Westlife, Atomic Kitten, Girls Aloud, Westlife, Blue and Paul Heaton.
Producer and programmer — Worked with household artists including Cher, Gary Kemp, Paul Heaton, Paul Carrack, Mike and the Mechanics, Dexys Midnight Runners, Shirley Bassey, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins, and Russell Watson.
Studio Collaborations — with Mick Jagger, Jeff Beck, Tina Turner, Gary Barlow, Kylie Minogue, D:Ream, and Patricia Kaas.
Of all of those, it appears that Spandau Ballet is the outfit that he has spent a lot of his musical with as this somewhat dated photo of him performing with them at Live Aid will testify:3 -
That concert was on the day of the playoff final too.LenGlover said:Watching (by my standards) modern music by Paul Heaton and his band from Bramall Lane as Paul is a Sheffield United fan.
