Not according to the then Irish Premier. Of course you might know better but I suspect not :-)
Boris for leader LOL. Like I said earlier should be fun and games between him and Dave (wonder if his 'plan' has something in it about that) if the tories win the election!0 -
[cite]Posted By: Goonerhater[/cite]Love Boris
is his art u believe him to be a total buffoon. Strange treated with Left Labour and New labours total contempt and stuffed Livingston back down his socialist pit.
As for two wars please do tell who took us into them ? wasnt it a Labour Gov with a huge majority ?
As for the 2.5 million jobs yes lets forget that quick
as for the vote on Europe yep see above.
Blair brought in the HUman Rights act and his wife made a fourtune maybe that shwere jaqui Smith and the rest learnt a bout filling their own boots.
Boris Johnston is a Tory Boy buffoon. Interesting though that you oppose corruption but have avoided all mention that Ian Clement, one of his appointed deputy mayors is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty on corruption charges for misusing his credit card.
Or that he tried last week to give a major arts post in London to Veronica Wadley who is the now ex-editor of the Standard. She has zero background in the arts and even the Arts Council opposed her candidacy. I guess it was pure coincidence that the Standard supported Boris Johnson's campaign to become London Mayor, ironically the Standard used to campaign against "cronyism".0 -

No it wasn't...
John Major deserves some credit for getting the two sides to talk in the first place and setting the whole thing in process, but it was Blair who made sure that it reached a conclusion that against the odds has worked.0 -
George Osborne - Pay freeze on Nurses earning over £18k if the torys get elected.
Kenny MacAskill - Utter kunt0 -
It was Whitelaw who started it off asked by Thatcher ,Major took up the process and Blair finished it.
Of course this was the same Thatcher would wouldnt talk to terrorists. It was the PIRA moving fromblowing people to bits (the Tories couldnt give a shit) to hiting financial centres that changed HM Govs stance. ( Manachester and Docklands mega bombs) Pressure came from the City onto the Tories.Money talks people never have really mattered.0 -

I was referring to Andy playing for the Republic but being born and bred in Bexley in response to the comments made about Aiden McGeady and Tony Cascarino - Although I am guilty of going off topic, sorry lads.0 -
Ah well......that makes a bit more sense....but how can anyone be blamed for not following what you meant..be fair you didn't make that plain?0

Big difference between McGeady and Andy T and Tony C. Andy & Tony were never realistically going to get a game for England so made sense to follow the Irish option. McGeady on the other hand would have had every chance of playing for Scotland. The country he was born and raised in but chose Ireland instead. Best not say anymore.0
