Not featuring in that pathetic Vertu/Papa John's whatever trophy. Consequently, not living in fear of the humiliation that our first team might have to play a competitive match against Palace U21s.

Being genuinely interested when the fixtures come out. Wrexham being one of the less attractive fixtures, rather than one of the more attractive fixtures.

Briefly deluding myself that we might not lose both games to Millwall.
Watching our under 21's thrash Leyton Orient in the Vertu Trophy 😎

Shiny new signings and the reactions ranging from over the top excitement to absolute panic.

OK that has genuinely excited me that we can still win the Vertu trophy but with our u21s instead, I forgot we would still be in it in some capacity? Will we definitely be in it?

Kanu, Dixon, Enslin, Rylah, Casey etc.

We can still win the EFL trophy.

I didn’t actually realise Championship clubs could enter their under 21’s in the EFL Trophy.

The Vertu Trophy is a midweek knockout cup competition which includes Clubs from EFL League One and League Two, plus an additional 16 invited sides from Premier League and EFL Championship clubs with Category One Academies.

    We are category two.

I think we should take the opportunity to cut out all the hugging other fans nonsense we've been doing over the past 5 months. The excitement of winning is no excuse. Time to return to ignoring everyone else unless you've known them for at least 20 years, and perhaps a manly handshake at the end of a romping 4 goal victory.  ;)

Knew it was Championship sides as well, just forgot about the cat1 stuff. Terrible day.

I'd love to see us lift that trophy. It's a beauty.

Being able to drag mates along to the valley will be a lot easier when we’re playing the likes of Sheff Utd, West Brom, Blackburn etc rather than Lincoln, Burton, Stevenage et al

1-0 away wins at Saints, Stoke & Swansea and Jones to lose his nut at the full time whistle, knee sliding from the half-way line to the away end

There are some rules and the laws in the universe that are immutable ... and this is one of them.

Players may change ... divisions may be different ... new stadia ... but Millwall will always find a way to beat Charlton.

I fear that the day Charlton finally beats Millwall will be the day that the Earth is hit by an asteroid, wiping out all life on the planet.

Charlton could storm to the Championship title with a record points haul and the Spanners relegated in last place with the most defeats and lowest points total ever ... but you know our respective season records would be:

    1. Charlton Athletic  P46  W44  D0  L2   PTS 132

    .
    .
    .

    24 Millwall  P46  W2  D0  L44  PTS 6

No. But four league wins at The Den & seven at The Valley in 104 years of league football suggests it’s a pretty powerful one.

We've only been playing league football for 103 years and plenty of them have been in the top flight and the scum have been nowhere to be seen

Unwavering support for the team come what may…

If the application remains the same as this season throughout next season I hope we all play our part in the right way.

The number of coastal visits - Saints, Pompey, Swansea, Hull - always enjoy a stroll along the sea pre or post game.

I’m a genuinely not! It’s just that the ardent Millwall haters are such good fun 😂 & coming from such a big Millwall family (bar the old man) I can have fun with it!

I will get bored tho. That bit is true.

But you can’t be mean to me. I even complimented you on your vlogs a few months ago!!
