Subscribed. The best inside information you can have just behind Ronnie Moore …16

Or £50 a year. For all he's done for us, I'm happy to support this.2

So it's a new chapter for me. I'm going to be writing about Charlton Athletic on Substack. You can find me here. Excited and daunted in equal measure. I don't want to let anyone down. https://southlondonsportcharlton.substack.com11 -
Might be worth getting this thread renamed and stickyed1

Are we alright to share his posts in here then, or is that wrong. I've subscribed for the month1

That'll be the quickest way to kill it off so unless it's a freely available post, suggest we try not to, to be fair to Cawley6

Sounds good 👍0

Just subscribed on the monthly tier which I fully intend to keep paying. Grateful for the opportunity to support Rich’s good work covering our club.8

I’ve just subscribed and Cawley has already told me who we are signing this summer.

Is there anything there yet?

I have no idea what a Substack is and fear it could be one f**k off sized rabbit hole for me but if it helps keep Rich at his best it’s a small price to pay for those that can afford the subscription. Signing up now and good luck Rich. Like Louis, you are a much loved, valued and respected journalist for all things Charlton - keep feeding our appetites on the inside track!
One rule we should all abide by is no screenshot or cut and paste jobbies…summaries only otherwise what’s the point.10 -
Yes, Yes, but will it be as informed as, Summer 2025 Charlton Athletic Transfer Rumours Thread?

Signed up. How does it work with accreditation and stuff? Will he still have access at press conferences and things?1
-
I suspect he’ll still get all access press access, plus his usual extra bits0

I’ve signed up. Mind blowing news about Macauley Bonne.24

I’ve subscribed - I’ve tended to avoid substacks and patreons for content I might find interesting in the past (on the whole because those who I have engaged with already have successful careers).
With Rich effectively being out of work now, and also and reputable and very good journalist when it comes to all things Charlton (see the Nathan Jones thread) I’m more than happy to support him.
Be interesting to see how he reports on pre-season and the transfer window.9 -
I’ve signed up, we get virtually no decent coverage in the national press and this is an opportunity to support a very good local journalist who provides great coverage. £5 a month is a small price to pay.7

Signed up!5

Signed up for the year, good stuff2

Great that he's doing it just charlton. My assumption was he'd be trying to cover all South London clubs! Special treatment for us!

This is brilliant news - I really hoped Rich would do this, and he has. If you can, please support this - this is now the only way we'll get decent independent reporting of the club. There's a guy who was a Huddersfield Town reporter who was let go by the local paper there about a year ago - he set up https://www.weareterriers.com/ and that looks like it's flourishing, with other people on board covering pretty much everything that moves there. I'm sure Rich's new venture will do at least as well.WSS said:Signed up. How does it work with accreditation and stuff? Will he still have access at press conferences and things?7

Signed up. Looking forward to the content.0

The bloke has earnt £50 from me based on his previous work and twitter account. For which I have never paid a penny. So I hope he can continue in the same vein going forward - as much as I enjoy Charlton TV as an expat, it’s important we still have independent coverage of the club, even if to excite / calm the nerves regarding transfers (or managers). Really wish him luck14
