Sorry I’m a total Luddite, what do get when you sign up, is it emails, a short of newspaper or what? I would like to sign up as he deserves it for his past efforts, but I don’t want to be inundated with adverts and other rubbish. Sorry to you young’ un this question may sound stupid, but l just don’t what he’s producing.5

Best of luck with the Substack, Richard. I lost my job in the local press this year and launched a similar project covering my home patch, the Folkestone Dispatch. A bit daunting to go it alone, but it's amazing to see that people who value your work will support it incredibly generously.4

Good first article from Rich, his Substack is gonna be even better than what I hoped The Athletic would start to give us now we've been promoted to The Championship.
Sadly, they haven't even written about our promotion, plenty of Wrexham content on there though...

Was disappointed to go onto The Athletic this morning and all they had EFL wise was a whole breakdown on Wrexham's squad and how they might approach the summer. Should do that for all the newly promoted teams but I guess Wrexham drives the clicks.
Was a good comment underneath from someone " did you even realise Charlton and AFC Wimbledon got promoted or are you just going to cover Wrexham"6 -

They had a story staring them in the face with the play-off final, given where both Charlton and Orient were in the play-offs. But yeah, the effing clicks. Thig is, they get subs too form the likes of me.
