    After having Messi come out of your academy to become possibly the greatest player of all time, a couple of years after he leaves, you produce Lamine Yamal out of your academy as well.

    If he continues on this trajectory, he'll end up with a legitimate shot at being one of the greatest of all time as well.

    I don't think Amorim wanted to sell him, it was the owners. He's the wrong side of 30 and Saudi were offering close to 100m for him which would have massively helped their financial situation.
