I don't think there was a single person in football who thought that the move would have actually made sense, or been a good idea for Jones, just that it wasn't impossible and he's crazy enough to consider it.
I think I'm missing a trick here. State the obvious with non-controversial opinions in an overwhelmingly positive tone and make out like it's brand new information, people lap it up.
What next, "it would be a bad idea for a manager to not turn up to work".
Edit: Changed my stance, the content was great, will watch more in the future.

It's an EFL summary show... He's summed up the situation clearly and concisely for people who weren't on top of it. I don't listen often, but when I do, I learn about managerial/ownership situations at other clubs I didn't have a clue about because I don't actively follow other teams. That's the value it's providing, it's not just about mad takes, there's AFTV if you want a bit of that!

Summary show or not, you can't talk about something with that much confidence if it's already happened. I just don't see the value personally. Any Charlton could have said that and it would have the same impact.
Seen far too much lazy content around us the last few weeks.
- Point out the obvious - Say it with a lot of enthusiasm - Avoid being opinionated - Don't say anything that could be controversial - Sit on the fence a bit - Upload it

It’s actually a show about Welsh football so not designed for us, it obviously got tagged for us because they want eyeballs but the content is actually to tell Cardiff fans why it was ridiculous

Same thing then, just apply the logic to Cardiff fans.
The majority of them believe it wasn't going to happen, they were just excited about the speculation and the idea of it.
Do they really need to be told that a manager dropping down a league to leave a team he's just been promoted with would have been a bad move?
Just comes across a bit know it all. He's either stating the obvious and he's portrayed it like the view is a revelation, when everyone already knew it made no sense, or he's doing it to rub salt in the wounds, and if he isn't a Swansea fan, what's the point.

He's asked a question and he answered it. Not everything can be a reaction to something straight away. It's a short clip from a much longer show. Given he has 2 podcasts, has some form of partnership that means he regularly guests on that one, runs a newsletter that employs people and does other freelance stuff I think it's hard to say anything he does is "lazy". And if you think it's lazy then (if you haven't already) listen to a Monday show of NTT20 when the season starts, to be able to talk about 36 games of football and know what's happening across 72 teams you can't be lazy

Agreed, it is not the right conversation but they are generally excellent in providing, mostly, unbiased commentary on the EFL. Not through sensational or outlandish statements but through well thought out and researched ideas. Just because something isn't a sensationalist headline, doesn't mean its not thought out well or researched.

When you are the boss, act like a boss and never be undermined by anyone especially the director of football.
Remember your roots, like mine are Blaenrhondda, in Mid Glamorgan, and send a WhatsApp message occasionally as you won't have time to go back.
Look, always have a good number Two early doors because you won't have time when you arrive at the training ground.
Even if your local team come calling like Cardiff did for me, don't take up the offer if that team is in a lower division but make sure your agent isn't shy in telling the world.
My team is Charlton Athletic and I would love it, really love it if we can beat Stoke and Saints in the coming season because they made the mistake of sacking me.
Never forget who has wronged you; write the names on post-it notes in your house on the rare times you are at home; "Gentleman behind my dugout"
Look, show your Character and be demonstrated in the technical areas on match days and never stand with your hands in your pockets like Micky Apples or big Russell Slade.
Finally it's been a pleasure for you to listen to me today so goodbye and may your God go with you.
Jones is already the seventh longest serving Manager in the Championship ahead of the new season - Could be fifth by the time the season starts
When you see that you have to ask whether committing to 5-year contracts is wise?
Richard Cawley mentioned on his podcast if/when managers are sacked they’re usually only paid for a year, regardless of how long their contract is, so it’s more about increasing the compensation other clubs would have to pay to bring him in.

I don't think there was a single person in football who thought that the move would have actually made sense, or been a good idea for Jones, just that it wasn't impossible and he's crazy enough to consider it.
What next, "it would be a bad idea for a manager to not turn up to work".
Edit: Changed my stance, the content was great, will watch more in the future.
Summary show or not, you can't talk about something with that much confidence if it's already happened. I just don't see the value personally. Any Charlton could have said that and it would have the same impact.
Seen far too much lazy content around us the last few weeks.
- Point out the obvious
- Say it with a lot of enthusiasm
- Avoid being opinionated
- Don't say anything that could be controversial
- Sit on the fence a bit
- Upload it
The majority of them believe it wasn't going to happen, they were just excited about the speculation and the idea of it.
Like I said, lazy content.
Ignore original post.
Think he's an Oxford fan or is that George?
Always good to make sure everything is in place and unlikely to slip out when least expected...🙄

Be confident in every decision you make; tell the media you are the greatest.
Look, If any fan gives you verbal, give it back with interest.
If any fan praises you while you have the trophy in your hands remind them that they once bad mouthed you.
