Hopefully this is setting up for a nice scrap for the win in the last 10 laps2

Been a great strategy battle of a race so far... All coming back together - I hope that Russell can hold on as he's been solid today0

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!0

Lando you twat1
-
Nightmare for Mclaren! Initial thought is what was Norris thinking??1
-
Norris, what are you doing?!0
-
What an absolute idiot Lando is.0

That’s why he won’t win the championship2

Reminds me of Button Vs Hamilton 20112 -
Stupid from Lando. I mean - Oscar needed to pedal faster because he was too slow…. Lando could have got Max but then again what do you do? McLaren don’t want team orders but that’s the risk.0

At least Norris had the sense to take the blame without trying to pass it on to Piastri, he would have been talking bullshit if he had done.1
-
Ridiculous decision. Cost himself a lot of points.2
-
Well done Russell today though. Deserved win. Thought he raced well on the first 10 laps where Max tried putting him under a lot of pressure.

Good win for Russell. Norris - brainless. At least he had the grace to immediately hold his hands up though. On a different point:I’m getting a bit sick of hearing drivers screaming foul over the radios.Just no need for it. Verstappen and Russell both at it there. “Ooh, please sir, that other boy’s being naughty! He should get detention!”
Just drive the fucking cars you twats.
Also, Horner’s got some fucking brass neck saying “don’t fall for the gamesmanship”. Bloke’s a monumental arsehole.7 -
Where's Russell's new contract! Controlled that perfectly.2

Enjoyed the cheeky moment from Russell to slow during the SC, he really does get into Verstappen's head doesnt he. He'd be such a different beast for Max to deal with if they got into a WDC battle.
I'm sure it was a delayed radio message, but found Toto's radio to George amusing, just as he was coming down the pit lane funny, as was almost as though he'd forgotten to congratulate his winning driver, as doesnt give a shit about him.
If Mercedes can do that a few more times, Russell will sneak his way into the battle for the Championship this season, as he's so consistent!!2 -

I'm also fully expecting if we get some rain and a favourable grid slot , we're getting the Kimi Antonelli race win.1 -
Lando need an experienced old head guiding him. Piastri has it with Webber. I was never keen on Lando before as he seemed a it childish and full of himself. But he's grown on me and one of the few characters in the sport1

I wouldn't have been surprised had he ended up being a Brundle type F1 Driver, someone who got so close to a win, but never managed it.2 -

As Canadian GP's go that was a bit of a non event until Lando brainfart moment.
Lando can still win the title if he gets in the right head space long way to go0 -

In my defence, Horner is still a monumental arsehole. 😉1 -
Red Bull are protesting George's Safety car stuff to the stewards

Not adding much new to the conversation with this, but utterly brainless from Norris. Open and shut case for the insurance adjuster to apportion blame on that one. Pisastri played completely fair as they battled down the straight. Lando just doesn’t seem to have the cool head under pressure. It’ll hold him back forever winning a world title. Agree with this saying Russel is the best British driver on the grid right now and one who might challenge Max a bit more in a straight fight. Piastri is another who Verstappen won’t fluster.
Agree with @lordromford - the tattle-tailing over the radio is very tedious and makes the all sound like a bunch of knobheads. Grow up.

So the damage to Hamilton's car that caused aero damage was that he hit an unfortunate Groundhog...couldn't make it up...https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/articles/cp3q3g1wd19o0

Not F1, but did anyone see the Newgarden & Foster crash in the St Louis Indycar race?
Scary stuff but credit to the engineering and safety of the cars these days. Amazing they both walked away…2 -

I watched the full race back this evening, due to how late it was on last night, and Ovals are really beginning to grow on me for the exciting racing that they generate - Really hoped that Callum Ilott would hold on and some how grab a bit of an underdog win when the strategy seemed to briefly fall in his favour.2 -
Yeah really felt for Newgarden, not a fan of Penske Racing (Who ended up having a disaster of a race with all three drivers), but he was in complete control of the race and ended up out of the race, due to no fault of his own - Credit as well to one of the Marshals who was over to the car and down on his knees talking to Josef within seconds of the incident as well.

Yes, kudos to the Marshall who was straight over the pit wall and checking on Newgarden. Very brave to leap onto an effectively still live track with so much debris. Maybe thinking back to the Zanardi crash all those years back and realising ever second could count.2 -

I really enjoy Indycar when it's on at a sensible time , I know Palou has been quite dominant of late but there's plenty of depth to their field. Penske seem to be a total mess on and off the track ATM and can't buy a win, I guess with sacking their main leads of the team there's going to be a few major growing pains for them to contend with.
Heavy rumours Will Power is out at Penske to be replaced by David Malukas and Andretti will promote Dennis Hauger to replace Ericsson.1
