Glory boy. He waited until we were back in the Championship before retiring
Always really enjoyed him as a sports presenter, saw him in the away end at Reading in Prem relegation season - from memory our first time playing at their new ground and also at Exeter away in League 1 title winning season under SCP.
Very nice bloke and what a lovely career he made for himself, I enjoyed watching and listening to him over his years on the box. He was a decent goalkeeper too........ think he was in goal for the Roan side which won the English Schools FA back in the 70's..... or maybe runners up?

He was a decent goalkeeper too........ think he was in goal for the Roan side which won the English Schools FA back in the 70's..... or maybe runners up?
