Reece Burke isn’t a wingback - he’s a CB only.Mengi is surely way out of our price range - he did ok in the prem.
Bell to me seems the only fit but it’s a good point about not having to negotiate with Luton.1 -

Yeah which I think makes more sense than Burke or Mengi. An older player to add experience, competition for both Gillesphey and Edwards - I’m not convinced we’ll sign a LCB and a LWB, as I doubt NJ will completely change from wanting a small squad to a much bigger one. Saying TC doesn’t take on and beat defenders is silly the one thing he’s best at. Oloafe does add some balance up top though have Leaburn as a proper big striker, Godden as a poacher, TC as the pacer forward and Oloafe to add an all round game based on what the game requires. I think he was injured towards the end of the season. He still had that burst when he was dribbling at defenders from a standing start but his long speed didn't look right.0 -
