Why do they have to play them on the Thursday that week - there's no CL games that week. Could play them Tuesday/Wednesday and then we could have a few more Saturday 3pm league games after - surely UEFA haven't forgotten about the fans?

Many European leagues play predominantly on the Sunday not the Saturday.
