This is THE position I most wanted to see us strengthen.
Second half of the season Mannion did a good job playing to his strengths behind a dominant defence, but shop-stopping is his weakness, and that would have been exposed in a higher division.
From what I've seen, this lad is very good indeed.
Well that's certainly a bit of a "statement" signing - it suggests that money will be spent if it means getting the players Jones wants. Probably does mean that we're losing AMB but that's the nature of the game sadly.
Glad we've got it done, feel for Mannion and AMB but this isnt a business to get sentimental over - Am glaf we've got this done, what with the frustrations of trying to get another Goalkeeper last summer

Exactly this , glad we got him over the line early and didn't spend the whole summer chasing a GK. Mannion is still a solid No2 and I'd expect AMB to move on
A positive and looks like an excellent signing , but not too familiar with his appearances. Of course it is down to his performances between the sticks, and how he commands his area.

Seriously though, excellent signing. More to follow please.
Welcome Thomas. Nice to execute successful negotiations with a Belgian!

A much better Keeper signing than I was expecting. Initially I thought Fabianski might be worth a punt. I now understand why he was overlooked
