Crucial touch to give Lloyd time to clear off line today at 1 nil
His crap kick did give them the chance in the 1st place. Keeper wouldn’t have changed the outcome today
Disagree, he plucked out a couple of crosses Kaminski would have left

Please can we have him back in the team! Don't mind Mannion as a back-up, but we need our best players to be playing.

I don't particularly care for either of them. It's like an Adam Matthews / Gunter situation, although not quite as bad.

Would be surprised if he’s not in the team for Monday. There’s always pressure to play your highest paid player but Jones needed a reason to drop Mannion and today he definitely got one.

Definitely needs to be back on Monday.

Jones: “Thomas fell over yesterday and then he couldn’t travel.”

Cawley certainly didn't seem to buy it

    Hmm
Did he really say that or am I going to whooshed ?
Seems too bizarre to be true .

Sounds like he might have copped the strop by not getting his place back or maybe I’m reading too much into it ? Mannion is the better keeper anyway in my opinion .

And at 27 Mannion is likely to improve further.

In any other sphere of life you'd probably think that translates to "got ratarsed on Sunday, did himself a mischief, and couldn't travel cos he had a hangover", but it seems a bit unlikely in this case, surely?

I think it more likely he got stroppy about not playing and that's probably a bad move with our Nathan.

Kaminski throwing his toys out of the pram could be ideal for us really. Will be easier to move him on this summer if he isn’t happy, and then we can hopefully sign a better number 1

The way Nathan talked about Mannion being humble & how important humility was, in his post match interview, does make you wonder if it was aimed at Kaminski.

Also, from what I've heard, it wouldn't be the first time Jones has punched a wall when falling out with players so might explain the wrist support he was wearing !

I could be totally wring of course.

To be fair, I completely understand TKs frustrqtion at not playing yesterday. When I was playing if I was in that position I would be knocking on managers door asking why?

Do people just expect him to sit back and see damage done to his career quietly? Hopefully NJ starts TK (who is our better keeper) on Saturday.

The point being that TK has very little evidence to point to that he ‘should’ be playing. Mannion is better, more reliable and someone we can take forward with us. TK has made multiple mistakes throughout the season

Would be surprised if we saw TK again if he's had a falling out with NJ. Think he'll be out the door in the summer

    Hope you're right.

If the rumours of what he is being paid - £10K to £20K a week - are in any way true we shouldn't stand in his way if he wants to go.

Mannion has supported him the whole season, the least TK could do is return the favour even if it is begrudgingly. The manager picks the team, not the wage bill

Forgot that, good point. Keepers have a different age/development arc, generally.

He was wearing the cast Friday and TK was on the bench so unless he's punched a wall again I think they're unlinked

Other players like Docherty have reconciled with Jones. He has had words, one a shouting match, with a number of players this Season. The biggest one with Zach Mitchell.

Rich and Louis on their podcast didn’t sound convinced this was a genuine injury.

I don’t think there’s much in the keepers in terms of quality I just edge it Kaminski, but one clearly has the right mindset and personality one doesn’t and if one of those is costing 1M in a fee and 1M a year in wages I know what I’d rather have in the squad.

Kaminski actually pushing for a move may really help in our favour because if he was settled he’d be much harder to move on than he is currently and there definitely isn’t a big enough gap in quality between him and Mannion to justify those wages

Fancy a goalkeeper not knowing how to fall to the ground.
