Feels like we always have at least one burk in the squad every season ! 😆MarcusH26 said:
Not convinced we sign both him and Burke. Have concerns about both re injury record. Hope Burke isn't another Dan Potts.RonnieMoore said:
Akin Famewo now that he is a free agentMarcusH26 said:Offiah or Reece Burke next would be my guess. Or it will be someone not even mentioned yet.
Famewo now being a free agent will increase the interest in him.2 -
Would be a good move for him, L1 football and Jacko will look after him well.MarcusH26 said:5 -

Doucher was showing him the sights of Thamesmead and the Medway towns but he seems to have gone AWOL.
Edit* I posted when pages behind so 👏🏼to Doucher for being ITK and convincing Tanto, Chiselhurst is a great place to live 👍🏼5 -
Probably a decent move, he's probably not going to get much game time here and Jackson is proving a decent coach too so it will do him good.MarcusH26 said:4 -
from Wikipedia .. 'Olaofe attended Wilmington Grammar School. While at Millwall, Olaofe was also studying for a Business Management degree at the Open University.[55] His nickname "Tanto" is an abbreviated form of his middle name.[56]'Henry Irving said:"Hopefully I can help elevate the team in the right direction because the current trajectory is a very good one."
That's a bit posh for an ex-Millwall player. No wonder he didn't fit in there.4 -

Right that’s ones done, when’s the next signing0
-
What do we reckon we still need. I'm thinking:
Right-Back (Ramsey can be cover, so probably only 1 needed).
Left-Back cover
Left Centre Back
Holding Midfielder
Winger/Attacking Midfielder0 -
I think that's probably nearer the truth.RonnieMoore said:

Galbraith:fenaddick said:
Unless I missed it that FLW doesn’t mention price other than our bid and the Hudds one at £2.5m which I’d say is the upper limit of what he’s worth I thinkBraziliance said:Very disappointing if he signs there. Going for a very fair/cheap price and improves us. Can't say we weren't interested either as we bid
Hudds didn't bid £2.5m.
That was just click bait exagération.
It was more realistically reported though that they'd had a bid of £1.5m refused, topping Charlton's earlier bid of £1.3m.
Sounds more likely to me.
Galbraith is contracted to Orient - and they call the shots at the fee they're willing to accept.
It' s perhaps a game of bluff though.
There may come a time during this window when they'll be prepared to accept a lower offer?0 -

All of the above and maybe another out and out striker? If NJ is already comfortable with loaning DK out I reckon we aren't done up front yet.Pelling1993 said:What do we reckon we still need. I'm thinking:

Maybe competition for Doc too?1 -
Right you are. Brings some gender balance into the recruitment teamthai malaysia addick said:Having nicknamed the scarf ‘Scarfy’ in the past, is it time to call the pen ‘Penny’?1 -
He won't be played as a touchline hugging traditional winger though, will he?RedRobin said:
Interestingly if you read some of Stockport fan comments, they are laughing that we think he can play as a winger, they think he is better suited down the middle. In fairness, when we played them at their place, he was mainly on the left causing Ramsey problems, so agreed he is defo competition for TC but a different player.eaststandmike said:
Olaofe is surely cover for TC, he is a wide player not a centre forwardValley11 said:What’s the thinking then, still to come:
Tanto Olaofe today
Famewo
Burke
Offiah
Galbraith
Would be good. I do think we need some cover for TC.
And potentially we’re still a bit light up front with Miles out.
Think NJ's typical gameplan
Olaofe will be there to drive through the channels and drift wide when occasion demands.1 -
Keillor-Dunn would tick so many boxes as could play in a host of positions.MarcusH26 said:

Bell
Famewo
Ethan Galbraith (more as an 8, I see Coventry as the hold)
Keillor-Dunn
We could stay up with those additions imo, and it would only cost between 6-7 million in transfer fees, wages wouldn't be absurd either. Would match what Pompey and Oxford did which should be our minimum target.
If we are feeling really ambitious go and test QPR for Charlie Kelman, perfect player to compete with and learn from Godden.5 -
Early announcement, hoping something else to follow or today will have peaked prematurely.5
-
Kelman will be in a different pond to us, teams chasing championship playoffs are interested1
-
West Brom I think I saw as the favourite for Kelman.0
-
QPR will keep Kelman or he will go to a play off chasing club don't think we'd have any chance.0
-
Kelman might prove me wrong, but our defence made fairly light work of him each time we played them imo.17

Phil Chapple and NJ have done well so far.
Tanto and Carey are punts* in a way but Kaminski is a proven Championship player.
* Punts only in the fact you can never be certain with the step up and coming into a new team after both played in the 3rd tier last season just like the rest of our successful Wembley winning team.

Credit to our defence, he is absolutely class. 21 goals you have to have something about you.Pelling1993 said:Kelman might prove me wrong, but our defence made fairly light work of him each time we played them imo.
I think he has it all for this level, movement, he's fast, he's fairly strong, can score a range of goals.
As Sam said though, the likes of West Brom are after him, probably be unlikely.2 -
Tanto's ex teammate Jayden Fevrier must be worth consideration .. right winger or wing back .. Londoner (well Waltham Forest anyway)7
-
My god, I do hope Golfie is happy at last? 😜Elthamaddick said:No idea why, but am excited about this one - always like a striker signing!0 -
Looks like Swansea might be favourites for Galbraith0

Would love Fevrier, was one I thought of as a direct replacement for Small - super quick too.Lincsaddick said:Tanto's ex teammate Jayden Fevrier must be worth consideration .. right winger or wing back .. Londoner (well Waltham Forest anyway)4 -
something a bit more substantial from me today, Daniel Kanu to AFC Wimbledon on loan4

Already beaten to it by FLW and Cawley, slacking!Radostanradical said:something a bit more substantial from me today, Daniel Kanu to AFC Wimbledon on loan5 -
Id imagine another signing from us too today, must be a reason it was announced so early.2
-
Always expected this.Southendaddick said:Looks like Swansea might be favourites for Galbraith
They were in for him in January and will be able to offer much higher wages than us.3
