I don’t know too much about him, but he has made a decent number of appearances (from starts) in recent seasons.

    Welcome Amari.

Decent video of his farewell. Comes across a well-spoken and smart chap.

  • Really good signing that. The big fear with Gillesphey is that his lack of pace will expose the area where he’s weakest again, which is chasing back after a ball over his head. A lot of his mistakes came from those sorts of balls over the top and faster attacking teams will look to exploit that. He’s best when he can win the first header or engage a defender square on. Bell offers pace and power in those situations and we can switch between them depending on if we need to not get caught out or if we might have a bit more of the ball. Does potentially allow us to push Ramsay to RWB if we need to in a pinch because we’ll have the recovery pace in Bell
  • Ding Dong says Leslie Phillipd
  • I know nothing of him, seems another solid signing, with NJ quoting he has pace and power. Been a champ and a season as a prem player the last few years, so definitely an upgrade.

    Decent left sided cover.
Guessing this is the replacment for Small then
Jones talks in his interview as LCB cover
Does that then put the Burke and Famewo rumours to bed?

How the tables have turned, I remember we were all so jealous of the way Luton were being run and getting to the premier league , now we’ve got half their players and above them.
Mass sales at Luton. Looks like they are skint.
I guess Nick Owens TV AM money wasn’t going to last forever.

    Best transfer window for years.
We'll see... I'm happy with those that we're bringing in, but there have been a few Summers in the recent years where people have seen them as 7/10 or 8/10 windows, and they've been less than impressive, so never like making absolute judgement. It feels a better window than 2019 when we were last in the Championship, but that's no surprise, but the proof will be in the pudding next May.

Famewo yeah , Burke I expect to compete with Ramsay if signed and I still wouldn't rule out the Brad Hills rumour.
  • Excellent stuff, another step closer to Europe, well Thomas Sandgaard did say Europe in 5 years…

Intwresting, we got him in over Akin, which I’m guessing is dead in the water, wages or who you know and trust?
  • Don’t know much about him so can’t comment but in Jones we trust etc, etc
  • Underwhelmed.  Another REG - Too short for CB - not enough pace for wing back.

    And too old ...
    me im just whelmed.

It’s also encouraging to know these owners have serious money who clearly are happy to back the manager in the transfer market.

....but only if it gets considerably worse in Ukraine.
  • Was extremely impressed with him when he played against us at The Valley for Fleetwood was their stand out player, very pleased with this signing

Can't say I know much about him, but sounds a decent signing, proven at this level
Don't know much about him either, his name rings a bell though

I came here to say I was struggling to get used to the idea that we now sign people I've heard of, other than having heard of them purely because they played well against us in one game in League One. So it's reassuring to hear he actually ticks both boxes.

Joking aside, I'm starting to feel optimistic which is not my usual state of existence. We're signing people I don't have to look up on Google.
  • Another good signing - ability, character, experience & I can see this as a real positive for our young Jamaicans to have a senior player who's walked/walking the same path.
  • Not convinced on this one tbh, but obviously hope I'm wrong!
