No negativity on here Guv'norGarrymanilow said:
To be fair I think most of those comments were just them saying that he didn't have the legs to play as a marauding wingback attacking and defending anymore as opposed to saying he couldn't move. I think some good old fashioned Charlton Life negativity might have overstated some of thatCrispywood said:Makes it weirder that Luton fans have said his legs had completely gone. Obviously had his injury issues but still looks incredibly mobile and quick. Hopefully we get another bell type LCB this summer1 -
Did see some Luton fans who definitely said that I’d also argue besides the increased injury risk he looked very good even when playing wingbackGarrymanilow said:

Ideally, we should look for a midfielder with the qualities Bell shows. Someone who can make the ball stick for a seconds, give teammates time to move into space, and then pick the simple, perfect pass because the hard work has already been done.1

Jamaica have their play offs for the world cup in March. We're a better side with him and TC available.0

That would also require some players who made runs into space0

We don’t play over the international break thankfully. I’m not sure Bell is that big a fan of flying inter continental economy, even if it is to play for his country.Addicksi said:Jamaica have their play offs for the world cup in March. We're a better side with him and TC available.0 -
Thanks I was worried they'd be away.Weegie Addick said:

They are away, their play off games are in Mexico (assuming the current troubles there calm down).Addicksi said:

They play New Caledonia on 26 March where they will be big favourites to win and then go on to face DR Congo on 31 March. Win both and they go to the world cup.
Charlton don't play from 21 March (Norwich home) until 3 April (Bristol City home).0 -
Well yeah but there's always a couple of maniacs in any support, just look at this place. The overall tone of Luton fans was more towards him not being the wingback he was, which is fine when you're going to be played as a classy unpressable centre back. I also think he looked decent at wingback but not quite the attacking monster he was at times for Luton, just a really good defender for usCrispywood said:

Have a look at his heatmaps below, he was being used in a totally different way for them last season to how we use him. In that context, his legs probably did look like they were gone!Garrymanilow said:
