Matchday Ticket prices 25/26

edited July 4 in General Charlton

In setting match-to-match pricing for the 2025/26 campaign the club have benchmarked against other clubs and consulted supporter representatives and below are key components of the club’s pricing for the 2025/26 campaign:

  • The club are operating gold, silver and bronze category games this season
  • The majority of games will be silver category games, with adult ticket prices starting at £27
  • Four gold category games have been selected in the first half of the season - Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Portsmouth, with adult prices starting at £30
  • There will be two bronze category games in the first half of the season for midweek fixtures against West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough, with adult prices starting at just £20
  • The club will analyse the impact of the bronze category games before making a decision around bronze category games in the second half of the season
  • Match ticket prices for silver and gold category games have increased but remain competitive compared with London-based clubs in the Sky Bet Championship
  • The club have made a concerted effort to attract families over the last 18 months. Season tickets in the Family Stand have nearly sold out for the 2025/26 season, so the club will be opening an additional area for family tickets in West Stand Block H (which was previously closed). Family bundles remain in place for match tickets with prices starting at £50. U12s can claim a free season ticket in the two family sections with a full paying adult
  • Following the success of last season, the club will continue with up to three Kids For A Quid fixtures, where U12s can attend for £1. These fixtures will be confirmed in due course
  • The 16-20 Zone remains in place with prices starting at £10
  • Group bookings of 10 or more are once again available. Contact tickets@cafc.co.uk or call 03330 14 44 44 to book.

  • Upper Covered End adult prices for the first 2 home games (Both Silver) are £32. An increase of £5 on last season
  • No mention here of the Katie penalty tax for late deciders on match day (i,e, price increase of £x, x hours before kick off). Anyone know if that's still in place?

Get your tickets early to recieve the best pricing. Prices increase one hour before kick-off by £3 for Adults and £2 for O65s, U21s, Students, U18s and U11s.

    This is still remarkably stupid…
I've never understood it but I guess there is walk ups on the day and they make a bit more money cos of it. Don't think it's right personally.
  • Why on earth is Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Portsmouth gold prices?!
  • Sheff Wed a gold game???
  • Might be wrong but isn’t it to make things quieter for the ticket office on the day so that they are on hand to fix any issues?

    Exactly. "I before E except after C."

  • "so the club will be opening an additional area for family tickets in West Stand Block H"

The young CAFC supporters might be learning some new language and gestures from the away supporters located in the Jimmy Seed stand!

    Red Division
  • The West Stand Lower, in block A it is 32 but in block H it is £27.  It is the same view of the game but at different ends of the stand!  Why? It does not make sense.
A lot of games will be hit the £40 should fans pay on the day, the prices are not too attractive for a full paying adult.
Having said all this, I think the pricing could have been a lot worse.

Might be a move to convince the undecided on STs to swallow the cost and get one.

Anyone with under 12 kid(s) and happy to sit in the family stand it's a no-brainer really. £16 a game all in.
  • Southampton and Pompey with big away followings that will comfortably sell out feel like obvious Gold games. Not sure about the Massives, depends on how bad their situation is by then.

Wednesday have one of the best followings in the country, you can almost guarantee they'll have 2,500 regardless.

It isnt beyond the realm of possibilties that they dont even start the season imo. They might be struggling to actually field a team

They might have that number in the Jimmy Seed, but will they have any players on the pitch.

Hopefully, always liked Wednesday and have a few mates that follow them.

Are they still putting away fans in the west upper, or has that idea been shelved?

They need to get Thierry Small off the away tickets bit on the website, even if there’s no tickets on sale at the moment.
  • They are still digesting fish and chips. Percentage increase even for the Stevenage game compared to the equivalent fixture last season is a bit much alone

CAST didn’t want to ask the club because there wasn’t a firm proposal.

However they did manage to proactively confirm there won’t yet be any facial recognition cameras. 😉

My gripe aside I would assume not a likely thing this year.

I doubt if it generates anything, given it will be a deterrent to some and anyone put off would have been paying ten times the matchday addition.
  • Chatting with a pal last night over a beer or 3, and he told me Bromley are charing £27 a game.
Which for 4 div football, sounded a bit strong but made my season ticket an absolute bargain for Championship football.
  • Blackburn’s matchday prices for this coming season

    Much more like it.
I'm assuming that they're paying higher salaries than us and getting similar crowds.  So if they can offer these prices it's a shame we're more expensive.

Blackburn ST prices. Unfortunately walkups have to be priced a certain way to justify a ST.
