I bet they have a ruck and don’t even finish the set.

Did anyone get an email back with a link to get these production tickets they’re releasing? Put my name down for them but nothing back, wasn’t sure if that’s been done yet.

Ive just had a carrot dangled for some tickets meaning I now have 2 VIP Libertines tickets available for Margate on Friday. Good support too, drop me a direct message of anyone is interested, I've listed them for half of face value and I'd rather they go to someone from here or that I know

You will bump into the bands with these tickets, Carl and Peter are incredibly accommodating with their time and will be mincing about before and after
Didn't know they were doing Friday, thought it was just Dreamland on Saturday?
  • managed to get 2 tickets for the last Wembley gig - quite a few appearing now.
Where are these tickets appearing? A resale site? Have been keeping an eye on the likes of Viagogo, plenty of tickets available but nothing in the standing section for any of the Wembley dates for under £400 per ticket.

Like most I've been screwed over at every stage by the whole Ticketmaster fiasco, but seen a few posts recently about people getting hold of tickets... where from?!

Ticket master, were quite a few pairs and singles appearing a couple of weeks back.

paid £130 each for a pair together
Wow! Nice one mate, enjoy! have all but given up unless I want to pay £800+ for a pair

My BIL has said he'll be able to get me into his companies box for one of the Wembley dates (the same one he let me use for the play off final). Not sure I'll be able to use it though as he hasn't confirmed which date yet and I won't be able to make a couple of the nights.

Hotel now booked for Toronto next month. Hoping for a lower dick head count over in Canada than I might encounter over here.

They are only doing one night, you are correct and I am not. I still have VIP tickets if you want to make use of them or know anyone. Never been to a bad Libertines gig even back in the more unpredictable days.

Sorry mate I'm busy or id be tempted - just thought there might be an off chance you'd thought it was the Friday when you could actually still go the Saturday!

So glad I got tickets for September in the end. Seen them a few times before but would have had serious envy right now if I hadn’t. Oasis on full blast this morning. Countdown is on.

They had a quick piece on the BBc news tonight, commentating on the reunion in Cardiff tonight.

They said people were going up and down in canoes, outside the stadium, so they could listen to the music,
presiny they didn’t have a ticket.

Also said they changed the lyrics to Wonderwall….

    There are many things,
that I’d like to say to you,
    but I can’t speak Welsh!

All but 1 song were from the 90s. If I was there, I would have liked a bit more from their later albums, as there were still good songs.

    Reasonable set list cafctom said:
An outstanding evening. A setlist delivered from the gods and Oasis sounded out of this world.

Crowd was absolutely on it from start to finish. All 74,000 people standing and giving 100% for the whole show, even up in the rafters.

Have to admit to feeling a little choked when the brothers came out hand in hand, arms raised, to kick off the gig. One of those “I was there” moments.

Reasonable set list. No Columbia though or round are way or fucking in the bushes unless they came out to it

They came out to Fucking in the Bushes.

No Columbia is the main one but they might mix things up a bit along the tour.

Would also like them to have finished with I am the Walrus

So jealous of everyone who has tickets, the videos from last night look class and I’m surprised at how brilliant they sound. Obviously there was a lot of fuss over the ticket pricing but it looks like it’ll be worth every penny if you’ve got one.

If anyone is going to any of the gigs then stick loads of pics on here so those of us less fortunate can live vicariously through you.

I remember they played Walrus at the end of the first time I ever saw them at Glastonbury 1994 on the NME stage in the afternoon and I was impressed as up until then i was unsure even though they were hyped as the next big thing.

I've been dismissive of these gigs and the media and pricing etc but now they're here I'm slightly jealous of people going I must say.

Having watched the videos of last night, they sounded amazing.

Anyone who is spouting negative shit is either jealous they don’t have a ticket or just a twat.

Just let the Oasis fans enjoy it.

Heaton park 20th of July baby! Can’t wait
  • One of the reviews I read pointed out that they only played songs from the 90's because of their later albums are diminishing returns.

When I read fans comments from people that were there last night, one of the few criticisms was that they didn't play songs from their last couple of albums!

They had some great songs during the 2000's, granted not as consistently. But it's the same tired narrative to stick the boot into them IMO.

Gen Z don't have the same bias, and enjoy songs from across their back catalogue.

Only one missing for me for these size gigs is “ stop crying your heart out”

Not sure I agree with only Gen Z enjoying broader Oasis songs. I’d love to see songs from Heathen Chemistry, Standing on the Shoulders.. and Don’t Believe the Truth on that set list. I don’t even mind Dig Out Your Soul as it’s still better than a lot of albums from other bands.

Oh I think there are plenty of people who enjoy post Britpop Oasis, I'm one of them! It's just the narrative that they faded into irrevency comes from Millennials but younger generations don't see it like that at all.
