    Tomorrow is perfect weather - warm, rather than hot - for watching on the outside courts, as unlike Centre and No 1, they have no cover. A few years ago I had tickets for No 3 court, which was roasting hot in the sun.

    I have applied through the ballot most years since and been about 16 to 18 or maybe even a few more times and to about 5 or 6 finals- I'm ashamed to admit that I can't remember them all individually but can remember a few including Andy Murray's first win - although we must have been in the 2 seats the furthest from the court - but didn't mind!

    I had so many amazing autographs plus pages of Charlton players from about 1976 until about 1982. It was falling apart and I was very upset when my parents checked it out with a load of stuff I'd left at the family home when they moved back to Scotland - when I was old enough to have moved out of home but still young enough not to think about what I wanted to salvage (unfortunately)

    I had this really cool metallic flip book with what must have been 10s to hundreds of players competing at Wimbledon and it got thrown out by someone.

    And my family wonder why I keep so much stuff now and refer to me as a hoarder when it was them who cause the emotional damage 😂

    I'm gutted I don't still have the programmes from my first football matches.
    I used to have loads of old Charlton programmes from the late 40s and the 50s that my uncle gave me.
    And then all the ones I kept after my first game in 1962.
    All of them long since either chucked out or passed on to me cousin back in the 80s.
    I did get the programme from my first game on Ebay a few years back

    Novak with the second set. 6-4. Still not overly convincing. 

    His coaches look like a right bunch of miseries. Probably not helped by them having to wear matching outfits.
