This is really sad as a Charlton fan. Hopefully a great move/opportunity for her.
It can’t be understated how important it has been for a person who not only gets and loves the club as well as having a personal connection to be the one to help settle new players here.
No single person has been consistently a beacon of hope in these dark times than Tracey. Always thought the club would be ok when there were people like her around protecting it.
Sounds like she’s been in the role for 10 years and wants a new challenge.
Someone else said it but it seems like she sometimes worked almost 24 hours because she was intrinsic to the club and all the player liaison processes.
maybe time for a new challenge and new surroundings
I don’t think it’s relevant, but I also don’t think it’s a ridiculous suggestion on the day a new director is appointed to wonder in passing if Tracy might have been told her role would change or something so not sure Beds deserves quite so much stick for a passing comment!
Hope she keeps coming down as a fan with Carlo (to watch Miles but also just to support us!)
All the best for your future @Tracey - you were an absolute diamond through some rough times in our history - and I’m sure the players will miss you as much as us fans will.
Wow shocked at seeing this news…what a loss to the club & what big shoes to fill, thank you Mrs Charlton for ur service through out the difficult times the previous owners have put us through, you were the shining light at the end of it all…good luck Tracey in whatever venture you take up,our loss will be their gain…💐💐
Selfishly it's a big shame as it very visible Tracey is an asset to our club and does a pukka job. However I wish her the best of luck in her next chapter.
Sad news - best of luck in whatever you do next Tracey.
Won't forget you coming to my Dads funeral, or sneaking my boy into the dressing room when he was absolutely desperate to meet CBT - that small action literally made his year
Wow - this one’s brought me up short. As others have said, Tracey was one of those who kept the flame burning during some very dark times. All the best to her.

You fooled everyone then apparently looking at the responses you got. Good one

Too many people trying to have a pop at a very innocent musing.
Now that would be one for the conspiracy theorists.

Tracey will be a hard act to follow. She's always seemed to be the person in the background doing the hard graft with little recognition or reward.
I'm sure she could write an extremely good memoir of her time at CAFC and I'm also sure there are lifers who would ghost write it with her.
Thank you, and good luck with the future @Tracey
Good luck to her.
