I do think it's interesting that he only made 19 league appearances and then had an 18 year old coming on ahead of him in key games where we could have nicked 2nd and in the Play-offs. Appearance payments are pretty common and 20 would make sense as a trigger. The difference was the majority of players had been on the piss for 6 weeks and were a tad overweight after the midnight take aways back in the day.
Most modern players does lose fitness or put on weight because of the diets and fitness routines even they do when having a month off from Sparrows lane.
Sports science is drummed into players now.

Think we all know Ronnie copies stuff from elsewhere or just makes it up...for me though the main issue is that he always posts using a style that states whatever as absolute fact like he is either completely ITK or has the information as a definite fact.
