    Should we beat Essex then Sussex would have to beat Gloucs and Surrey for us not to qualify. 
    Unfortunately Sussex beat Gloucs off the final ball tonight. We now have to beat Essex and we must rely on Surrey beating Sussex. Wanting Surrey to win feels oh so dirty.

    Gloucs shot themselves in the foot , the first time in a good few years I've seen the pressure get to David Payne. 

    Also Jordan Cox smashed 139* for Essex tonight.

    There are so many potential avenues to disappointment but wouldn't it be nice if it all fell into place for once?

    Besides rain coming sooner than expected, if Kent win, they ought to be there as Sussex are unlikely to beat Surrey.
