There's a lad playing for Glamorgan 2s called Matthew Marriott. He was educated in Kent and played for Hayes, Bexley and Sevenoaks Vine as well as coming through the Kent system. I suspect that he is at Uni there because he plays for a local club too.
My impression is that most "hot " prospects who go to Uni ultimately stay attached to their home county. Few hang around their Uni area.
OMG - I think I've just seen Benjamin smash a ball into his legs and been given out LBW. The commentators seem to think that the question was whether the ball hit him outside the line. Out for 23 (56).
Joe Denly has gone off injured - looks like his hamstring has gone and that might be it for the match. Injuries really have caught up with him in the last few years and there has to be some question marks as to whether it is financially worth offering him another contract. This is his 14th game this season and he played 16 last year. Possibly a white ball contract only might be a compromise given the lesser rigours on the body of T20 cricket.

DBD 30* (45)
122-3 (but possibly 4 given Joe's injury)
I've seen nothing to suggest that he didn't hit it. In fact, DBD's reaction standing next to the umpire rather confirms that thought.

Bizarre as he seems to have alternated between the counties.
There is a hell of a lot of that going on. You see some players turn out for four or five sides during the course of the season. Arafat Bhuiyan, for example, in addition to turning out for SACA and Suffolk, has played for Warwickshire and Surrey this season as well as Northamptonshire at the back end of last season. These guys are basically paid "expenses" to pay so aren't earning a living as such doing so.
It's all about catching a coach's attention and the fact that two counties have consistently chosen to play Rivzi suggests that he may not be far away from earning a contract from either Kent or Glamorgan. The fact that he is a leggie might suggest that we are looking at him as an alternative to Parkinson in one format of the game rather than both.

Rivzi, ironically, has split his time this season between playing for both Glamorgan and Kent 2s

148/3 to 155 all out is a disgrace.
