Great to see the narrative of HR heads fucking their way to the top being challenged here... 😏
I suppose part of it depends on how much someone stigmatises sex and its almost weaponisation within a patriarchal society. if you are willing to be open and accept sex for what it is as an entirely natural thing and say it holds no currency, then people perhaps can’t use it for gain and as a vehicle for exploitation. It has been made a commodity thru its stigmatisation: advertising, music, film (particularly as a promotional tool, to grab people’s attention), it’s still fairly taboo and this is where it is exploited. wether someone wants to allow themselves to be exploited through sex by someone for that persons own gain to get a career boost is on that person and perhaps they need to be more grown up about what they want and need in their life, if they’re marriage is rocky and they wish they were with this person instead they should grow up and do something about it.
No joke, I think something has happened like this at every place I have ever worked at and I have worked for a lot of organisations, it was absolutely rife at my last job, probably the worst I have ever seen. Not being caught cheating at a Coldplay gig just to clarify, just cheating.
Why do people get married and have flings, I'll never understand it.
Loved seeing them get caught can't lie 😂
Get married and you'll understand.
I'd never get married, love having 3 girlfriends.
Two of them?
I'm only counting two there, I said I've got three.
A lot of jealousy on this forum, better time invested elsewhere then people might have multiple girlfriends, like me.

You can’t see the third as she went down on him in the back of the van.

Absolutely ridiculous that it's become a public story and resignation offence.
If his wife wants to cut his bollocks off, then fair enough, but this isn't an employment matter.
It could be if there are any morality clauses or stuff about bringing the company into disrepute in the contract.
But that's just a sign of US employment nonsense. It was a nonsense Max Clifford tabloid story, but the Ralph Halpern 5 times a night story from 30 years ago bizarrely feels more sensible .

This.
I put one of my team through disciplinary last year because he was seen in an uncompromising position with a female in his company car, he was suspended and resigned before he was pushed (which HR told me was the inevitable outcome had it progressed) Outside of work hours but car has company logos/decals, in a public area, was treated as bringing company into disrepute.
He is also presumably, as CEO, the boss (or bosses boss) of the head of HR which in itself is covered in most employment contracts as a disciplinary matter, even in the UK.

Don't go to a Coldplay gig.

One day you're at a Coldplay gig having an affair with a munter, the next you've lost your job, life comes at you fast 😂

Was he taking a, erm, "firm stance"?
