Bamford not being given a squad number and been told he can leave Leeds or play with u21s.

Presumably he'd prefer a Premier League side but I'm sure a few Championship sides would be interested.
He’s not Prem level anymore, he’s good for a Championship promotion/play off chasing team now though
Was initially thinking Norwich to replace Sargent but forgot he had a very underwhelming loan there a few years back. Anyone in the promotion race he could do a job for.
He wasn't a regular for Leeds last season,  and is a year older.

It's weird how people see players differently.
I don't rate him at all. He's had some spells in his career when he's looked good but he's also had bad spells and a lot of injury problems.

Good call. Got a media career as well, so the perfect match.

Sheff Utd linked with one of Eidur Gudjonsen’s sons. Article mentions his two brothers are also footballers.

Being linked with Kieffer Moore too, but that could be 2+2=4 with him being Welsh.

30+ Welsh international would fit them perfectly.

Wrexham have to go for it.  Their whole sponsorship/international fan base is built on sand.  Stall and everyone loses interest and suddenly the coffers run dry and they have big wages to pay. How long do the Hollywood boys keep throwing cash at that.
Whilst they are in an upward trajectory, more people jump aboard the bandwagon.  Sadly I can see them being PL inside 2-3 years.
They need to get a shift on in the transfer market they have just lost again to an Aussie team made up of youngsters it seems their glorious tour down under didn’t end well
They have agreed a deal for Josh Windass, and have reportedly "set aside a budget of 10m" for a striker. Why on earth you'd publicise that i don't know, and if it was me i'd rather sign two 5m players but either way i'm quite sure they're going to spend big in the next few weeks.

2 interesting things there, 1) Birmingham managing to make a profit and 2) him having to drop down to League One again. He's stuck in the mezzanine of too good for L1 but not good enough for the Championship

Fair play to Birmingham for making a profit, but smacks of desperation a bit from Huddersfield.

I mean May is definitely a decent option at League One level... But £1.2m seems a lot

£1.2m on May when they spent £3m (ish) on Joe Taylor in January and a significant fee on Dion Charles too in January.

Everyone thought Taylor and Charles would score, yet the 2 of them managed 2 goals in 33 league appearances. If you don't play to the players strengths they'll struggle. Interested to see how Huddersfield do with a new inexperienced manager.
