    I agree. Although I didn’t dislike Ahadme because he was lazy or some kind of diva, simply think he isn’t much good. Definitely file in the Ajose box.

    No chance he starts against Watford. Hasn’t played a minute of pre-season yet. Hopefully get him fit enough for the bench and then start him against Stevenage to get his fitness up to match level 
    No need to rush him back now either... You'd hope

    They have, much criticism from a lot of supporters but the manager believes he can get the best out of him, so you have to trust him, pretty much like us. My Millwall mates are over the moon about the Chelsea full back they had on loan and have now signed on a permanent but they have concerns over an ageing back line.

    I fully suspect there might be 1/2 surprise departures, there has to be right? Even potentially for the financial fair play rules to even out? How does that even work? It obviously increased for the championship but by how much exactly?

    not trying to be negative, I’ve loved our business, for our standards over the last decade it has been a 10/10 window 

    we have easily spent 9/10m + on transfers so far?

    I will never understand giving Dowie more money in one summer than Curbs had had combined pretty much. 
    Didn't Curbs see Murray after that window, and jokingly complain that he never got given those sort of funds?
    They were all crap apart from Carson too, and yes I include the perennially unfit and overweight, albeit very talented Andy Reid in that 
    Andy Reid was most certainly not crap. Wonderful footballer. Gets in pretty much any charlton team over the past 20 years.
    He was hugely overweight in the premier league and hardly played.  Good in the championship until he wanted to move in January.  Talented, yes .

    Assuming we can ammortise the costs of the fees in the books, it's one of the reasons for such long contracts. Don't think we'll need to sell any important players. Ahadme to go, Kanu & Asiimwe to be loaned out with Dixon possibly going on loan too if the right club comes in

    Kelman - No chance as we wouldn't have spent the money.
    Apter - same as above.
    Kaminski - same as above, plus Mannion was fine for league 1.
    Olaofe - maybe could've got him but if there were Championship clubs interested then i doubt it.
    JRC - probably wouldn't have dropped down a league.
    Carey - i think he was a done deal regardless of the division.
    Bell/Burke - may well have signed regardless because of the connection with Jones.

    And £4m back then was decent money too
    Trying to remember the other signings bar Diawara that summer? Think he was another £3.5m but now my minds gone blank on the rest 
    Tbf Diawara was a good player and deserved more recognition than he got. 
    Diawara was actually good and went on to have a good career afterwards. Not his fault that £3.5m for us back then was a very very significant fee.

    If they don’t stop signing more players like they have been it’ll probably be people moaning that if they had known It was going to be this difficult to get match tickets they would have bought a season ticket…
