    There’s many of us overseas or far afield wishing we could be at the Valley today for Malcolm’s sendoff but can’t. So we’ll be thinking of RedM, his family and his friends today. We’re wishing everyone all the best. RIP Malc.

    It was a lovely  service. So glad I went. Unfortunately I couldn't stay for get together at Royal Oak but enjoyed chatting with everyone before service.

    Just out of interest I asked and in the 25 years since the garden opened there have been nearly 500 ashes spread.

    @T_C_E Ray, you're a good man, and a good friend.

    I'm glad today went as well as can be expected for the family, friends and yourself, I only know you through Charlton and that fateful ride to Amsterdam (my left knee is still shot all these years later) but I know what a good person you are.

    I'm sure I can say for everyone, we are only too pleased to have been able to help a fellow lifer on their way and to make things a little easier for Angie and Red's family.

    RIP Malcolm, Redmidland, at peace at The Valley, very fitting........
