Deal agreed for Kudus for 55m a couple of days ago, and now a 60m deal agreed for Gibbs-White.
Two very good signings who i think will do really well under Frank.
@JohnBoyUK you must be pleased with that?
Just need a bonified no.6 likr Douglas Luiz or Adam Wharton then things are looking up, unless he intends to play a double pivot with Bentancur and Bissouma.
Dare I say it though, wouldnt be at all surprised to see Romero sold to pay for one or the signings. We'll just have to wait and see I guess!
Only Levy could trigger a release clause and STILL fuck a transfer up. Its almost as if I can imagine him rubbing his hands together thinking, oooh if I tell Marinakis I know about the release clause, he'll throw his toys out the pram, the transfer won't go through and I wont have to spend the best part of £130m in 24hrs. Call my cynical...

He wasn’t great for them last year so on the pitch won’t be a massive loss but he’s a real talisman for them and must be good in the dressing room. Plus he’s a massive commercial/sponsorship draw0
-
Yes, he's been their talisman since Kane left. He did seem on the decline last year though.1

They didn't spend much last summer and i suspect they won't need to spend much next summer either. So it would basically be a 450m spend but over 3 summers.0 -
Callum Wilson set to sign for West Ham in the most predictable transfer of the summer0

10 years, 454 games, 173 goals, 101 assists, 1 Europa League trophy. Screamers with both feet. End of an era, proper PL legend. Out on his terms, good luck Sonny!
But lets be honest, his form has been on the slide for the last 2 seasons, arguably 2.5 so its absolutely no surprise.
(Wonder if all the South Korean supporters that have flocked to WHL will stick about now?)2 -
Levy must be raging that he now won't be able to sell a bunch of match day tickets at extortionate prices to South Korean tourists.0

I thought Son was going on a free - £20m apparently! Good business by Spurs.
I see Maddison went off injured in the last friendly, no one around him when he went down, didn't look good. Felt.sorry for thim after he's just come back.0 -
He did cost about 60 times what we paid for Gassan.0

Personally i think Spurs should go for Grealish. Could probably get him on loan for a year with a fairly low fee clause for next summer, as he will then only have 1 year left on his contract.
Play him in a free role like he had at Villa and i think he'd be great for Spurs. Also means Levy doesn't have to spend on a transfer fee this summer and i think the fans would all be pleased at the signing so a win-win all round.5 -

Levy was on the Overlap this week, interviewed by G Nev.
Made for an interesting watch.1 -
Wonder how Newcastle feel about the Saudis trading Nunez for Isak with Liverpool and Newcastle seeming like an afterthought.1
