Did anyone else listen to the Orient sponsors yesterday. They pretty much have a sponsor for everything- Fear is that Charlton goes down a similar route.0

Always thought it being sponsored by a local pub could be an idea. Imagine The Royal Oak Valley.sam3110 said:If I won the Euromillions I'd sponsor the ground, but I'd call it "The Valley, sponsored by" and then either my family name or a company name0 -
I wouldn't spend all the winnings on it! But it would be a nice way to "invest" some money into the club I lovese9addick said:
This is probably the worst “if I won the lottery I’d…” I have ever heard!sam3110 said:If I won the Euromillions I'd sponsor the ground, but I'd call it "The Valley, sponsored by" and then either my family name or a company name0 -
Your not saying you wouldn't go on bait of an ego trip if you won the lottery?se9addick said:

Many people have invested lottery winnings in football teams.
Having your name synonymous with The Valley is peanuts in comparison.
*- if this was me I would be looking at more sponsorship opportunities than just naming sponsorship of the Valley.0 -
A example: Brisbane Road > Matchroom Stadium > Breyer Group Stadium > Gaughan Group Stadium.1

No, I don’t think I’d choose to bastardise the name of our stadium if I had significant money. If anything I’d probably pay the club to not change the name of the stadium.JustFloydRoad said:

Has anyone found sources stating they considering selling the renaming of the training ground as well (or is it just the stadium)?

I mean if someone's dumb enough to sponsor that then I don't see why not.JustFloydRoad said:Has anyone found sources stating they considering selling the renaming of the training ground as well (or is it just the stadium)?
Welcome to the Screwfix Training Ground at Sparrows Lane0 -

They’re a northern company though.barstool said:Jet 2 Valley would be a PR dream with livery to match
They've sponsored the Leigh Leopards this year.
Can’t see them putting money into a southern team.0 -

Would be a good start, but would RD sell to fans?JustFloydRoad said:Presumably at an over inflated price too, and could cause a nightmare for owners who would then presumably have to lease the pitch too0 -

Funny reading some of the comments back in February about this, with our owners being labelled as skint and clueless by quite a few2

Presumably they’ll do a Addicks Version of watches- as they have done for Everton & Goodison Park

The cheapest watch on their site is £560. The second cheapest is called ‘The Goodison’ (!). They sell other watches in the thousands of pounds bracket.
I suppose they are items to give as gifts, not really items for a person getting by on the minimum wage.1 -
You need to look at the watch fanciers thread if you think £560 is expensive.jose said:The cheapest watch on their site is £560. The second cheapest is called ‘The Goodison’ (!). They sell other watches in the thousands of pounds bracket.
