Matchday Ticket prices 25/26

The damage of our match day prices now kicking in since it will cost £32 per adult now, with restricted sales and lower covered end sold out. Almost whole blocks in the Curbs stand unsold. Casual or late buyers will be stung for £32 + the Katie tax, and less likely to return too.
A solution could be to sell those blocks in the Curbs stand at a reduced price to those on the database- say £27 same as they have done for the new family area (block H) at far end of West lower.0 -
Blocks that are only open because of high sales elsewhere. I agree that tickets could be cheaper but there's context as to why those blocks are unsold. They aren't usually open and they're the worst seats in the house in terms of experienceswords_alive said:The damage of our match day prices now kicking in since it will cost £32 per adult now, with restricted sales and lower covered end sold out. A few are sold in those Curb stand blocks on the edges. Not sure what you mean by context in this instance. We should be aiming to sell them and as of now, day before the game, they remain unsold (but for a few). If they're not so great for a view or experience they would be more easily sold at a reduced price.fenaddick said:

The worst seats in the house are in the Lower Covered End, in my opinion (which is my point. Perspectives differ). There is nothing wrong with the seats at the other end of the east and west, although I get people would prefer to be at the north end or on halfway. Hardly a reason not to attend.fenaddick said:

I carefully said experience rather than view as you're right there that Covered End Lower is the worst for that. What I was alluding to was that you're at one end of the ground without the benefits of that atmosphere created by the Covered End, plus on a less important point it's harder to see the scoreboard which isn't helpful either.Airman Brown said:

The context is they've been on sale for less time (I'm 90% sure they weren't open immediately anyway) and people like to sit nearer the middle/Covered End. Maybe you're right that they should be cheaper, I'm just saying why they don't sell as well at the momentswords_alive said:

Virtually no sales in H, I assume because they have restricted it. We’ll see over time but I suspect the prices are too high to maximise revenue. Charging a minimum adult price of £40 to sit in the middle of the upper west, behind the hospitality seats, for Millwall is pushing your luck IMO.swords_alive said:The damage of our match day prices now kicking in since it will cost £32 per adult now, with restricted sales and lower covered end sold out. They've reduced the pricing in West Stand Block H, although not yet showing if you try and purchase.

Or it could be that 21000 to 22000 is the best we can expect regardless of price.swords_alive said:The damage of our match day prices now kicking in since it will cost £32 per adult now, with restricted sales and lower covered end sold out. Maybe but why constrain ourselves with high prices and empty seats?msomerton said:

£38 (Leicester) and £40 Millwall is an absolute piss take, add the walkup tax and some people will be paying £43 on the day. Works 'ok' while the sun is shining and we have positivity after promotion, if we go on a shit run and the winter kicks in, we'll see just how well priced it's all been.

And of course many ate ideally buying more than one ticket. They want to bring a mate/ family.shine166 said:£38 (Leicester) and £40 Millwall is an absolute piss take, add the walkup tax and some people will be paying £43 on the day. It prices out a lot of people.0 -
They haven’t imposed any purchase restrictions on block H, so it’s now just a cheaper block not a family area, although it’s still £30. They won’t be able to stop you sitting nearer the halfway line.Covered End said:They've reduced the pricing in West Stand Block H, although not yet showing if you try and purchase.

Was intending to go but can't justify that. The prices are normally dictated by the anticipated away following. I'd imagine Sheffield United will be the same.Ipswich and Norwich will almost certainly sell out their allocation and the price will be the same.
