Don't take too long for Brownie to start praising the opposition does it...

    Oiiiiiii, Brownie is beyond criticism.

I was a bit worried Ramsay would have some work to do to improve on the ball now he's not going to be able to shrug off L1 attackers like he used to. Pleased to see so far that was unnecessary

Doc is getting space up top, and creating chances, could see him scoring here maybe...🤞

Shame Cov didn't react quicker to the ball across from Campbell, was in a great position for a shot.
  • TC is infuriating at times.

Think it was more of a wayward pass to me.

    Watford starting to take control.
Let them. We won’t control many games this season. It’s not how we’re set-up.
  • Not sure TC is offering enough
  • Does feel like we need to get a bit more prolific, I know both teams are going to be rusty in the first game, but cant be too wasteful in good areas like what we have been

It's fascinating how much better we look on the ball compared to last season even with the same players. That interchange was all Campbell, Edwards, Docherty, Coventry and Bell. Only one new player in there but we look slicker on the ball and our movement is smarter across the pitch. Shows the effect of time with coaching
  • Love Josh Edwards!!

What a complete joke. Laid down crying because he was embarrassed he got done, then play gets stopped when he’s not even on the pitch. Ridiculous.

Why's the ref stopping the game? He's off the pitch, and it's not a head injury?

  • F**k off referee... Let the physio go round the pitch?

He's the boss, he's the pip
    He's the championship...

    Or words to that effect.

Baah will be up and running in two minutes...time out called
  • Well done Edwards.

Does the ref realise Ba is off the pitch, so you don't need to stop the game.
  • I wondered Pre-Match why Baah hadnt gone on to better things already after impressing against us for Rochdale.

    Now I know...
  • Did just make me laugh that Brownie was talking about Baah potentially hitting his head on the concrete, and all he's done is slip over!!

Some decent performances so far from Kelman, Docherty, Apter, Ramsay and the back three, a little more belief from Coventry and Campbell please, as for Watford, patient build up waiting for us to slip up. Nothing in it.

Referee stops play for an injury to a Watford player.

Edwards had a tough battle with the oppo on the back left touchline, eventually won the ball and played it out but the oppo player lay on the turf - OFF THE FIELD OF PLAY.

The ref still halted procedings to call on the trainer.

Covered End diagnosis: "There's fuck all wrong with you"

Play resumes with a drop ball on half way, Watford player will rejoin in a few seconds.
