Can't wait to see the ground tomorrow and the further enhancements being made sound great. Just such a shame it's still owned by the tombstone toothed Belgian twat.

Not sure I like the complete black staircase entrances..
Appreciate the effort, but I think the black stairwells are a big mistake. It sounds weird, but I always appreciated the light colour they were before. They were just right. I think the black will now draw out the fact that the ceiling of the covered stands is a weathered light colour (and they sure as hell won't paint the ceiling and all that steel). As a result, it won't pull together top to bottom and it's out of balance. This shouldn't really bother me as much as it should, obviously, but it does! This doesn't look like the Valley to me.

Are they new seats as well?

A coat of paint always makes the home look better. But I’m not too sure on the colour or painting previously unpainted surfaces. It’s now a a job that has to be done regularly, something the club has never been good at.
I wonder if the toilets in the Alan Curbs stand will ever get hot water, making having a more match and half-time wee something to look forward to. Especially in the colder months.

If the footballs so bad you need to look forward to warming your hands over a half time wee then we've got problems.

Anyway could always piss on your hands to warm them up

That would be a major exercise, as they aren't plumbed for hot water.

Do any of the stands have hot water in the toilets (excluding hospitality areas)?

The West Stand has hot water in all the loos, but the bidet is always far too hot for me

Just seen this video on Facebook

Clearly some quick and dirty editing to obscure the roofs of the covered end and Curbishly stands, but what are they concealing? We already know from interviews that floodlights won't be going in until September.

Have they installed some roof mounted pyrotechnics for tomorrow?

I think it's just really badly filmed personally

Same, shot on someone's phone with a dirty camera lense and no concept of white balance and exposure levels

Curbs stand turnstiles not working when I arrived.

The programme sellers were struggling with poor  reception, to process electronic payments

Wasn't sure about the exit areas painted in black from the photos but with fans in the ground, the whole appearance changed and I personally thought it made the Valley look even classier.

I thought this too. It looks odd in an empty stadium, but with a good crowd it makes the crowd appear bigger in a sense.

What will happen with the advertising boards (that were) on the front of the AC stand?

Do we assume they can’t accommodate the electronic boards in any version there?

I think they're being replaced with leccy ones when they do the upper tier hoardings

Also thought this! Presumed they wouldn’t bother as they won’t be seen on TV, but equally they have removed all the ‘static’ board/hoardings so would be losing out totally on commercial revenue.

as a poster above says, presume they’ll be sorted when the upper tier and screen get done

I guess for the games on Sky with multi-cameras, those boards will still be shown plenty of times.

I think it is just the bracket at the back of the light.
