If it is indeed from one stand to the other, it might be as much as 5 or 6 times the area of the current screen, depending on the height of it

But what about the steps down the side of the JS?

that screen has terrible interference on it!- how are we gonna see who the subs are?

Did anyone notice Rob Apters picture had someone randomly standing behind him in it?

The top of the new screen needs to be inline with the (inside) top of the AC stand.  The current screen becomes obscured from block G as soon as someone in between stands up.
The screen is not at all easy to read in the AC stand. The typeface and graphics on Saturday were not as good as before and much harder to read.
There was also flashing of lights on the advertising hoardings in front of the covered end which happened randomly and were a distraction.
The screen like the picture of the one at the Hawthorns does look good.
The initial installation needs doing with great care and precision, because once there it is fixed for decades.

Next step for the upgrade of the big screen
  • I’m pretty sure it’s not out, we just got told it’s gonna fill in that whole gap between the two stands.

I didn't like the design either. Really hard to see yellow cards against a white background.
    It’s what I said.
The world is run by idiots.
Yellow on white is utterly stupid as is making the letters smaller.
We could read last seasons, but not on Saturday.
Everyone around me North Upper agreed.

Scoreboard hasn’t changed yet- think that’s coming in a few weeks/months!

Agree the updated design (of text/graphics) looks a bit small, but presumably it’s a temporary fix until the next screen is implemented.

really pleased the club have tried to reduce the ‘noise’ and colours used - based on CAST Feedback- and made it more colourblind/sight impairment friendly, albeit still slightly too small text
It made it worse whether you’re colour blind or not. Light yellow on white - ludicrous.
You need binoculars to read it now.

where can i see the updated design?
sorry, i meant the design of the text/images/graphics used on the screen
    Below

I don't mind it other that the clock is a bit small

Who can read Watford’s number 9?
First time I recall being unable to read a player’s name, even if it is very long.

They should just turn the black behind the number yellow / red for cards, instead of a little card you can't really see.

I hope they use the LED ribbon board on the West stand for score and match time as well, I know it’ll be mainly ads, but it does work well for match info

I’d genuinely booked myself an eye test this week as I thought my sight was going due to not being able to read the board, reassuring to know I wasn’t the only one.

They increased the font size for the player names and numbers for tonight’s games. Even made a change after the game had started to make smaller font (long names) bigger by reducing player name (r.Costello), so they are listening and reading.

And Nathan Jones was told not to bring Laqeretabua off the bench, as his name is too long to be legible.
