A 0-1 or even a 1-1 would’ve been a fairer result. We always have a bad result every couple of months. (Think Plymouth and Blackburn away last season). It’s good to get it out of the way now so we can iron out any creases in time for our big game in September…. V Watford. 😁
Two games in so very early days. Just as I wasn’t talking about winning the league when we won at Norwich last week I won’t be worrying about relegation after a shit result the following week. As I always say, give a season half a dozen games or so before you start panicking or getting too excited. On the plus side I managed to sort us some tickets yesterday so will be at The Valley for the game after all. Think it’s going to be an interesting one.First 15/20 minutes of the game we totally dominated. Middle section of the game was fairly even. They got the goal though, which meant we had to chase the game and left ourselves open from which they capitalised with the two late goals. If either of those earlier chances went in the scoreline would’ve been different. TBH they probably deserved it, but the 3-0 scoreline flattered them. And if it had finished 1-1 I wouldn’t have came away from the ground thinking we’d been lucky.Anyway, busy busy busy now, got a big project starting today. Won’t be on here much but see y’all in September 😁👍🏻1 -

He was actually bang unlucky with that header. Comes off the inside of the post, across the face of the goal, off the other post and out. That goes in and it’s a different result yesterday. But not too despondent. It’s a marathon not a sprint. We’ll be fine this season.“Relegation material” 😂
We’ve got cover for Doughty in Bryan and Sturge. Bet you’ve got your fingers crossed we pick up a few more injuries before our game, then you might just have a chance to add to your tally of 12 (twelve) wins in 74 attempts v us. 4 (four) in the last 35. #smallwall 😁0 -

missed you mean ? boro were camped on the edge of their box for most of the second half when millwall should have been pressing for an equaliser - they were piss poor - i accept they can't be that bad again but i know what i saw

It's good we are playing them at home early on in the season in my opinion.
Get this game out of the way. It is going to be a very difficult clash.
I remember Charlton being 4-2 up against them at home in league one and Millwall had 10 men. Parkinson was Manager.
I can't believe we ballsed that one up....1 -
If we had the 1970 Brazil side reincarnated at their peak playing for us.
Millwall would still find a way to win.5 -

Plenty of time for you to end up back in Belmarsh mate.

Apparently we only have 11 wins in those 74 games not 12! I can only conclude that you see number 12 incoming!
Also, it's 4 wins in the last 34, not 35.
I'm amazed that we appear never to have met in the cup. Seems almost impossible in over 100 years.
The cup draws have always been rigged so we do not get knocked out.

I was visiting wife’s brother who lives in Australia that Xmas. Asked my dad to send me the score. Was back in day when texts had limited characters and after pleasantries and how our trip was going the first text ended with and match ended Charlton 4
was gutted when second text came through a couple minutes later just saying Millwall 410 -

Even if we're 3-0 when the ref blows the full time whistle I still wont celebrate until I'm absolutely certain he hasn't blown up early and they come back out again after everyone has gone home to play the last two minutes and we lose 3-4.6

Omozusi signed on loan from Fulham, played less than a dozen times for us. I believe he was a right back0
