A sly attempt to lubricate the soprano, mezzo-soprano and alto sections of the Covered End choir if I had to take a wild guess…those aren’t big flags they’ve introduced, they are all big conductor batons for the shirt-sighted fans at the back…sod the premiership, we’re aiming for Europe. Just need a song now…
Hi everyone I am also pleased to announce I will be trading from Saturday and more than likely the rest of the season!!. I am still on my flight back to London as we speak! I am hoping it will be in the fans bar. I am having a meeting tomorrow with Gather and Gather. Once I know tomorrow where it is I will let you here full details for the season ahead.
I cant thank my incredible supporters enough at Charlton for your support and the club for backing me and demanding for my return! Thank you Charlton aswell as I feel a part of the Charlton family. I am going to be offering loyalty cards aswell this season! So make sure you grab one Saturday as your 10th coffee is free every time!
Come on Charlton! You are going to have brilliant season!
It's amazing isn't it, when you have two motivated and organised businesses who are passionate about their product and getting it out there to their customers, who in turn are only too willing to pay for it. Well done to Larry and Alex for hanging in there and fighting the fight.
I've always found it funny how the "customer experience" at lower league/smaller grounds is generally so much better than at our place. Yes, it's a smaller operation and so less to go wrong, but this stuff isn't rocket science - sell people what they want at a reasonable price.
Bigger clubs/venues also generally seem to get it about right, albeit at a less personal (and probably more expensive) level, but we've always seemed caught in some sort of permanent death loop in the middle where we're too big to run it all in-house, but not big enough for any outsourcer to really give a shit about us once the contract is signed.
It's just a shame (for me) that I don't drink coffee or cocktails!

You should try one. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Our customers are male and female young and old alike !

For those of us older chaps that don’t watch those reality tv shows, which programme is she in then ? Is it that Essex one ?
We were most disappointed when arriving early for the Watford game to walk all the way to The River and find that they weren't opening early for a 12:30 kick off ☹️ Anyone know if they plan to change this? With the amount of 12:30 starts we have they are missing out on quite a bit of cash I would have thought.
I've also wondered why/if they haven't sought permission for a few benches outside in the summer in a fenced off area like a lot of bars and cafes. Sitting inside isn't great when it's rammed and 25c+
I love the River Ale House but can't go in summer. It is roasting.
We popped in after the Watford game and certainly chugged the snails bank cider down quickly in the heat in there! I reckon it's all a clever ploy, like supermarkets wafting the fresh bread smell around 😜😆

But Mr F's asking if 10 TEAS count in your reward scheme or if he'll have to bring his own tea bag to Crossbars next time
