Ahadme misses a pretty good headed chance for Stevenage.

Few janners letting Mitchell know their thoughts as he’s subbed.

Asiimwe has just volleyed an attacking corner about 60 yards over the bar  :D

Mitchell subbed off after 78 mins average performance from him didn’t set the world alight but also didn’t make any big errors

Cheers @fenaddick just switched on the Crawley game. Commentator said Dixon was exciting in the first half
Was that commentator our very own Charlotte? Because she was hyping Dixon up and made comments about the ex-Charlton players.

He literally played the goalscorer on by himself - I’d say that’s a big error!

From the angle I had Koroma looked well offside, if he did play him on fair enough but he definitely didn’t look on

Looked offside from where I was but if Orient could shoot it would have been 2 or 3

Tallies a lot with what we've seen when he's played for us , good going forward but does switch off defensively sometimes. Hopefully JJ can get the defensive side of his game sorted

And as there's no CAFC this midweek, fixtures this week with potential for loanees to play

    Wimbledon vs Cardiff

    Port Vale v Stevenage

Plymouth v Leyton Orient (Presumably too soon for Mitchell but you never know)

    Northampton v Lincoln

    Crawley v MK Dons

    Farnborough v Worthing (Weds)
    An update on these

Wimbledon 0 - 1 Cardiff - 90 mins for Asiimwe, goal was conceded in injury time

Port Vale 1 - 2 Stevenage - Ahadme came on after 71, doesn't seem to have made an impace but both Stevenage goals in injury time

Plymouth 0 - 1 Leyton Orient - Mitchell played 79 mins, suspicions he might have played the Orient man onside for the goal

Northampton 0 - 1 Lincoln - 84 mins for Taylor as an attacking midfielder apparantely. If you want a laugh go look at the formation Fotmob/Sofascore have them down as playing, Nolan is either mental or a visionary

Crawley 1 - 1 MK Dons - 90 mins for Dixon on his first senior start in England, impressive in itself. A few flashes of brilliance but some errors too. MK Dons are no mugs though so he will have easier games coming up

Hard for Mitchell to go straight into a struggling Plymouth side, hardly knowing anybody. He was a direct replacement for the suspended Wiredu, who's had a nightmarish start to his Plymouth career.

That Northampton formation is basically 5-2-3, which isn't unheard of

MK Dons are the "24/25 Birmingham" of L2 this season. That goal they conceded was the first one they'd conceded in 4 matches!

Surprisingly, Ahadme is the one who's joined the most successful side. Stevenage are top of L1 and flying. If he can't recover his confidence there, he never will.

Seen 2 of these now & most impressed. I know I'll get shot down for this but I'd prefer him in the team instead of TC.....but too late for that now. More direct & better control. Might not do the defensive work but we have other players for that. Should have played more towards the end of last season when TC went off the boil.

Maybe you know more about golf?

But I am sure RonnieMoore will agree with you, if that is any comfort. He is always having a dig at Campbell.

I’m all for hot takes but this is something else. Saying Dixon is better than TC now based off 2 games in a division TC has never even touched is mental. No one doubts Dixon has a lot of potential and can be a great player in the future but he has a long way to go even making our squad.

Quite apart from anything else, young wingers/wide forwards are quite famously prone to being quite "streaky" and having patches of brilliance but also periods where they look pretty ineffective. Dixon may very well be on a hot streak currently but he most likely will have a tougher time coming up and that will hopefully be the real making of him.

And then if he'd not worked out and we ended up 7th, you could moan about Nathan trying out a young inexperienced player when we needed to win games!
