Charlton Life rulebook #39:
A member may be reported for bullying if said member advises another on the correct spelling of 'their', 'there' etc.
A member must never misspell a Charlton player's name. This is unforgivable as correct spelling of our players' names is a crucial life skill.2 -

What worries me and was highlighted on Tuesday, that when Lloyd is not playing how disorganised the defence is
Hopefully Burke will be able to cover this position5 -

Actually nothing odd about it. Just another member of the Nathan Jones mutual support group for Luton rejects.
Nathan Jones took such a pasting as manager at Stoke and Southampton that he has developed a siege mentality, stubborn and closed to advice from outsiders. "My way or the highway". He wants to surround himself with yes-men and is more comfortable with those who remind him of his glory years at Luton. This is such a common pattern with public figures, politicians, entertainers and military leaders it is easily recognizable.
Sometimes it works. Stalin got the job done. Hitler didn't. It has worked for Nathan Jones so far. Much as I would like to see us at least try to play football, I realize it could be very dangerous to change strategy now. I think we are stuck with it, at least until the end of the season. I do not think we will get relegated, and we do have a very remote chance of making top 6. Keep your fingers crossed! There is something very odd about signing a permanently injured player. How we play is irrelevant to signing someone who’s body is not up to the rigours of championship football all.
😁
Or maybe not.1 -

Makes me cringe how people think it's a sign of intelligence to be able to differentiate between the use of their, there and they're as an example, big fkn woop.
Some of the most interesting/intelligent people I have met can't spell for toffee or write very well, it is not a complete measuring stick at all.
Tell your step son to ignore the noise and carry on as is.
Clearly doesn't matter to you your honour....fecking judge & jury on everything.
For some people it's about standards (learning difficulties aside).....we're all different and all have different things that please or agitate us.
Now, back to the rumours I reckon.5 -

I'm very sure that while Lloyd is very important, Ramsay and Bell would cope a whole lot better in his absence than Laqeretabua and Mitchell did.
I also don't know if playing Josh and Zach either side of Lloyd would have been much more successful either - he can lead a defence well but with those two he'd essentially be micromanaging the entire defence which isn't ideal.4 -

Feels like too many coincidences to be random, assume if he wanted to play that his wages would be relatively cheap0

If he had something about him, you'd realise he had more experience than those around him and may have taken the lead. I believe that was the hope.
I'm sure Curtis Fleming will have noticed and will help Zach with it.0 -
Also makes sense as someone who can compete / be solid at the level but wouldn't break the bank and likely doesn't demand to displace a good thing we have with Ramsay and Jones11

Let's see what Linda Badger has to say first.32

But also he's not played since the terribly sad heart condition and only recently cleared to return, is he anywhere near the same player he was?
I'd like to see us look abroad for a new defender, there's not a lot of value or prospects in the UK, right now. WBA and Plymouth had great success and good value last season (Heggem cost £0.6m, sold for £10m, Talovierov bought for £1.5m, sold undisclosed)7 -
Only 30 years old, if he's over his problems or they can be managed properly (like Eriksen) then he'll be an asset to any championship club.
Could end up with a back 4 of Kaminski, Burke, Lockyer and Bell, who may well have all played together in the Premier League only a couple of seasons ago!7 -
Player / coach role perhaps? Would be an ideal signing as Callum says could provide decent backup quality not expecting to dislodge Bell, Jones or Ramsay either. Can’t be too many options available like this, well worth a punt.3
